Grabbed a quick meal to eat before leaving on a crabbing charter boat. Food was hot and tasty and worked well for our short timeline. Service was average and the lobby was a bit on the smoky side.

Came with my folks because other mo's is closed right now? Dad had fish tacos and said they were good. Mom and I had fish and chips, came with slice of bread and cup of chowder. Both of our cups of chowder were cold when brought out, after we asked them to hear them up, much better. We went with... More

Their fish and chip are great, and the atmosphere and service was wonderful. There is all kinds of see to look at, there is alot of history there.

Stopped in for the famous clam chowder. Ordered it and the steamer clams. While both dishes were average tasting the clams were chocked full of sand. Ouch!!! Also took a while to get seated because of absent hostess though we had a very nice waitress. I give it two stars for the food we had but I'd actually be willing... More

The wait staff is friendly and the food is wonderful. It was a cool, but surprisingly sunny December day in Newport and clam chowder was on the menu for us. Along with a tuna melt--this meal hit the spot. One more Mo's and I've hit them all.

If you want fried fish and chips or the like, go elsewhere. If you want the absolute most delicious (and huge) fresh Yaquina Bay oysters, and nice view of the harbor, definitely come here. I have never had such a plate of oysters as these.... unforgettable. Reasonably priced, welcoming of families, and great food all around.

Always enjoy stopping here for lunch, but be sure to check hours. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The view alone is worth the trip.

This place is 'old' but delicious! Added benefit is the 'entertainment' watching the fishermen and the cleaning of the fish as the boats come in. Several sea lions join in the fun! Delicious chowder but the avocado and shrimp was a perfect partner to the chowder. The fish tacos were great too!

The best clam chowder on the west coast hands down!! Mo's is a must stop when at the coast. We have been going here for over 30 years. Like the Annex better then the original up the street because of the views over the bay and watching the fishing boats unloading there catch at the processes right next door.

Thank Tom F
