I heard rumors that they had a bad experience with a new chef when chefs Paul and Greg retired but things are back to their usual excellent food. The room is warm and lovely and the service is always excellent. And the actual glockenspiel is charming. Good for all ages. We have had our entire 18 member immediate family, with... More

Thank you so much for giving us another try. We did hit a rough spot with hiring a new general manager and chef.....they really hurt our reputation. Our regular staff pulled together and we are back at our best. I really appreciate your review. Sincerely, Mary A Grant More

They were having a special night of Russian food, normally they have German food. We were not disappointed. Great food. We had a 5 course meal! We had plenty to eat and than some!

Four of us visited for lunch. Each of our meals were cooked perfectly. The schnitzels were golden brown with crisp breading and no gristle. The spatzle wasn't bland and a brown sauce on it was delicious. We enjoyed a wine tasting.

The whole family went to the falls to cool off during the late July heat wave and decided to stop in for diner. We started out with a selection of appetizers which where passed around and enjoyed by all. They all disappeared very quickly so I'm guessing the teenagers liked them. The restaurant had a guest chief from Spain so... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday and really loved it! I lived in Germany for four years and felt like I had gone back for an evening. The food was real true German style and the waiters and waitresses were dressed in German clothing. There was German music playing and I tried to sing along. I... More

The food was excellent - we had schnitzel, hazelnut chicken and salmon, and all were exceptionally good. The creme brulee and German chocolate cake were the best we've ever had. Our waitress was wonderful. All in all, a great experience and we'd definitely go back.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I really appreciate it, we work hard to run a very nice restaurant in a small town. Enjoy your summer. Mary More

Our meals were the worst excuse of German food that I have ever encountered. I spent 12 years in Germany. The chicken schnitzel was a small piece of tuff, stringy, boneless breast covered with what tasted like canned mushroom gravy. The spaetzle was fried & greasy. Even salad was a regular American type salad. Nothing about this meal was German.... More

We stopped for lunch after touring in the area. Our waitress was pleasant and the food was fabulous. I had local salmon with a scrumptious potato cake and roasted vegetables. It was very reasonably priced, and the portions were more than enough. We'll definitely return and try their fondue.

Service staff were very attentive. I ordered a reuben sandwich which was so soggy and the corned beef so thick and rubbery that the only way to eat it was with fork and knife. The french fries tasted like they were fried in really old grease. Also took forever for food to arrive and it didn't seem very busy at... More

My husband took me to Glockenspiel Restaurant for dinner one evening. I have nut allergies to all tree nuts and peanuts. When I saw the use of hazelnuts on several items on the menu I was concerned and informed the waitress I had a nut allergy. She had the chef come out who personally reviewed my food choices and stated... More
