For a chain restaurant this rates at or near the top. Good food, outrageous proportions and friendly and attentive staff. The biscuits and gravy are too die for.
On the road I have eaten at a the Black Bear and it is fun and comfort food. Sometimes you just need that to feel really on vacation.

The diner is busy. Food is average. Service was a little slow but waitress was great. It is a little pricy though.
