I don't understand the great reviews. The menu was very limited, the chowder was bland, and the food was just ok. Fancy doesn't always translate to exceptional food and for the price, I expected above average.

The vietnamese salad was excellent. The ceasar salads were placed on the warm pass, yuk. The scallop risoto was nice although some were undercooked.

Even though we had less to choose from I enjoyed the Rockfish Fish and chips the cole slaw with nappa cabbage is excellent but the French Fries were a bit overcooked and some were down right crispy. My husband had the Crispy Cornmeal Yaquina Bay...More

Absolutely delicious. I had the Parmesan Crusted Rock Fish. My cousin ordered the Salmon. We both agreed it was the best fish we’d ever eaten. Small, quaint establishment with excellent service and food. Highly recommend

We came here hoping for fresh seafood. Guess what the chief special was, lamb shank. I ordered the Seafood Stew /Cioppino Stew, also based on the waiter’s recommendation. He said they cook the broth for four hours and specially prepare it. It was awful. There...More

I read the reviews and was very excited to try a cute little restaurant with amazing food during our first visit to Lincoln City....blackfish is NOT cute and does NOT have amazing food. The restaurant is very dirty with very old/dirty decor, dishes, carpet etc....More

After a day out in the elements (read: cold and wet!) we decided to try out a place that had been suggested by a couple of other folks along the way. We got in before the lunch rush really got started so we got seated...More

The Black Fish is a must stop whenever we are in Lincoln City. Easy to find right on the highway. It is small, intimate, quiet and romantic. Some may consider the décor a bit quirky, but people come for the exceptional food not the art...More

The place felt very unremarkable, even though it gets many good reviews and had plenty of customers. We had to wait for the table, and that was fine, but the reception was cold and unfriendly. Nothing was offered in the waiting area and sitting arrangements...More

If you mean "wine" list, not "wind" list, I suggest you contact the café directly.

Reservations are best as they are very busy. We did get in as a walkin on our first visit, but that was at 5pm or so early in the week. At most of the better coast restaurants we find it best to call ahead.

I would consider the prices mid range. We had appetizer, 2 dinner entrees, dessert, and wine for just under 100 dollars. Well worth it! The food is fresh and well prepared, and the service is friendly.
