Love to visit this store whenever in Lincoln City. Has amazing kitchen products. Variety of olive oils, vinegars and other specialty items. Has a large variety of cheeses. Always very helpful. Samples of oils and balsamic also.

OK, you can sit at Starbucks, but Java Depot is a much better choice. (Pacific Grind has a sit-down option but they are not open weekends.) Java Depot offers personal service, no asking for your name (Starbucks I hate that!), and you can browse the...great kitchen and gift items they have for sale. Don't miss the selection of gourmet cheeses!More
No less delightful than our previous visit -- really, really good mochas (tied for the best in the area in our opinion) in a unique setting of all kinds of culinary books, tools and ingredients for sale. And still some of the best clam chowder...in town. Lovely staff. A bit out of the way, tucked into a strip mall next to Safeway, but absolutely worth a visit.More
I always stop here in Lincoln City. They have lots of kitchen items and bottled and packaged food items. They carry cookbooks and spirits cookbooks also. I like some of their glass ware and have found several gifts here. This time I bought a lovely...candle for a friend. We had great iced coffees and smoothies. Fun place and nice people.More
We walked in to a clean, friendly, welcoming environment with a sweet lady behind the counter. I had the Beanie mocha and my husband had the Peppermint white mocha (which she topped off with whipped cream and crushed peppermint candy). Mmmmm! They were delicious! We...had coffee from another place today and it was not as good.More
Lunchtime in the north end of Lincoln city, and we were also in need of coffee. Saw the sign for this place, right next to one for a pizza joint. Decided, what the heck, and walked in -- this was not your typical coffee bar...or cafe, rather mainly a store full of kitchen miscellany, mostly high end and unique, with a few tables and comestibles on display. With some trepedation we took the offer of a chicken salad sandwich and clam chowder, ordered mochas, and also grabbed a Nanaimo bar (you don't see these often outside of Vancouver Island, BC). Well, the sandwich was excellent. The clam chowder was among the best we've had on the Coast. The Nanaimo bar was just right. And the mochas were the best we've had on the coast -- very close to the amazing ones we found at a little Italian restaurant in San Francisco's North Beach. A real winner!More
Not so much a restaurant as a coffee bar with a few comestibles, but wandering the store is a wonderful experience. From 3' peppermills to artisanal cheeses without missing much between, this is a foodie's dream come true.
Although my coffee was delicious and the store is quaint and convenient, the price tag made this a place I won't return to.
Very nice skimmed milk latte (single shot). The carrot cake and vanilla & orange biscotti were both very tasty. The store is very busy with display items and only one member f staff while we were there. She was very chatty and helpful when we...enquired about the beach, etc.More
Just stopped in too look around and ended up having a lovely little supper of soup and sandwich. This is a really cute little place with lots of kitchen goodies and coffee drinks. What a surprise to find this place over by Safeway.
