Compares favorably to Thai places in the big city. Atmosphere is good, service good, good variety on menu. Is now combined with the Chinese restaurant next door, so offers a choice of menus. I eat there often.

I was so excited for a thai restaurant in la grande! I figured it wouldn't be great, but I thought that I'd give it a chance. When I was first inquiring about the menu the host at the restaurant told me that the chefs aren't even experienced with preparing Thai food (I'm not sure why she told me that). I... More

Didn't know what to expect, needed a vegetarian lunch while in La Grande. The Panang Curry was outstanding, I recommend you add pineapple, made just the right amount of sweet and heat. The green salad was fresh and their house dressing was a wonderful peanut sauce. Service was friendly and prompted. I'll go back.

We were so happy to have a Thai restaurant near us. We went for an early dinner and they didn't seem geared up yet. I enjoyed my appetizer and he liked his main dish, but the Pad Thai was terribly sweet. I brought the remains home and added more sprouts and some lime juice, and it was fantastic. Will probably... The prices were good but the food was just average. This is located in the same location as a former great restaurant that went out of business in La Grande so I expected better.

I ate here back in May of last year when it was still new and ran by the old owners, I wrote a review then as well. This time however, it was mid day and I had the crazy jungle noodles with beef. And the salad roll (a favorite of mine) as an appetizer. The food tasted great, came within... More

After living in La Grande and easting at Bangkok East allot, I was excited to eat in Thailand. Traveled all over and ate allot of good food. However Bangkok East is on par with most of the stuff I ate in Thailand. The curries(esp the green and the red) are fantastic, as well as the Pad Thai. We are lucky... More

Stopped in for a lunch bowl of beef pho on a cold day and it hit the spot. Only thing lacking was the side dish of fresh bean sprouts, basil, and mint leaves, but the broth and meatballs were solid. Located in the old Foley Station restaurant, the large booths are great and the decor isn't kitschy at all.

The first owner, only had this establishment for less than 6 months. It was plagued with problems because while the food was good, the service sucked. There simply was not enough money to hire enough staff. The stress got to her and she closed soon after opening. The Chinese Restaurant right next door (Golden Crown) bought it. They even cut... We couldn't believe our luck finding this place! Just in town for one night and I was worried we would get stuck in another steak and potatoes or burger place. I just wish the Thai place closest to my house was this good! We were seated quickly on a Friday night, service was prompt and very friendly. My husband ordered... More
