"This is mainly a pizza place, so I probably erred by choosing fish and chips. The battered fish was soggy and the chips (frries to Americans) were average at best.
We stopped by the Outpost for breakfast before leaving town. The menu selections very varied and matched up to our hunger levels perfectly. The portions are adequate without being over whelming. The atmosphere was down home small town and obviously a restaurant frequented by locals.
Stumbled in here for breakfast while on the road - what a great choice. My husband had the breakfast burrito and I had huckleberry pancakes. Both delicious, plenty on the plate and value for money. Nice waitress too!

Unwilling to pay $6 or more per glass for these offerings I ordered a $2 glass of their house red, and left all of it in the glass. Service indifferent. In a metro area I would have... More
Good food, good service and comfortable. Stopped by for breakfast; 1. 'classic' with bacon and hot cakes and 2. small biscuits and gravy. The goldilocks breakfast...just right !
