We had time to kill before checking in at the hotel so we drove here and ordered a Huckleberry Shake. They were busy so took a bit, but these things they are famous for...Huckleberry Shakes, Malts, ice cream...a litle higher prices than regular flavors but...More

My husband discovered a curly hair under his hamburger at dinner this evening. We were reported it(&showed it)to the waitress who said "Oh the cook has hairy arms" and went to replace the meal. While waiting, my husband took a French fry from my plate...More

This was our first meal in the morning before hitting the Pacific Crest Trail at Timberline Lodge/Mt. Hood, and we picked the right place. Kind of country-kitchen/rustic-y, like if Cracker Barrel was more authentic and less contrived. Let's just say, lots of wood. And If...More

Had a breakfast with the gang here at the huckleberry. I had a egg breakfast and some hashers and the wife had three pancakes that were delicious. I would say that this place was the bee's knees for a good wholesome breakfast. Better than Olive...More

Food is awesome. Home cooked. Great service. The bakery is made on location. Nice atmosphere. We'll go again.

I love the place even without having stayed there. I had a wedding at Timberline. I reserved a bunch of rooms at Huckleberry Inn for wedding guests in case they couldn't get rooms at Timberline. Turned out I didn't need the rooms, but I was...More

Between my fiance and I, we've been dropping in to this place every winter for 15 years. We'd always had good service/food, so we thought it would be similar this time. Everything seemed normal and the friendly waitstaff welcomed us, let us choose a table...More

Go for breakfast. Get a homemade donut for the table and split it (size of a plate). Huckleberry pancakes awesome. Portions are gargantuan. Very tasty, very good. Dinner was disappointing only because they were so busy, short staffed, and quality was not as high. Would...More

Well, I'm kind of prejudiced... I've been eating here since the '50s... But I used to live in Portland and ski every chance I had - as did my parents - from the '30s.... I remember sleeping in my car in front of the Huckleberry...More

This is a diner - more on the small side. I would not recommend it for a large group. The day we were there, it was hard enough to find seating for 2 of us. We sat at the counter.

I doubt they have gift certificates, but am not sure. Very good home style food, good atmosphere, to die for huckleberry pie. Could call, I'm sure information has number. Government Camp, Or. Quaint little Inn also.
