Well, I'm kind of prejudiced... I've been eating here since the '50s... But I used to live in Portland and ski every chance I had - as did my parents - from the '30s.... I remember sleeping in my car in front of the Huckleberry on a Sat. nite to go skiing again on Sun. before having to head back... More

Ate dinner here basically because Glacier Haus next door refused to seat and stated a half hour wait for a seat when. You husband and daughter and one other couple waiting could have been accommodated at a large empty table. Huckleberry was not totally full. Their prices were slightly higher but their portions are huge. I got their grilled chicken... More

Great traditional mountain diner. Stop for a short stack of delicious huckleberry pancakes on your way over the pass. Same now as it was when i first visited 25 years ago.

The food was great (Egg salad sandwich and Ruben) along with awesome huckleberry pie. Sadly the service could have been better.

Food is served on large, oval platter-like plates or on multiple plates. Meals are served as they are up, so your food will get cold if you wait for your compatriots' food to arrive, and your sides may arrive before or after your main (or not at all). The entire Huckleberry Inn is understaffed, so expect to wait a long... More

Came here with my wife for some huckleberry pie with vanilla ice cream and a coffee. Pie this time was slightly over cooked but nonetheless still tasted great. Not the cheapest place but nice to pop into for something to eat and drink

Huckleberry inn , how can you not have the huckleberry pancakes???! Size of the plate they serve them on , good fluffy pancakes with an abundance of huckleberries in the , then huckleberry syrup to put on them - My wife had a Denver Omelet , and the toast came with huckleberry jelly - Good food , good historic place!

We ate breakfast before going up to Mt. Hood and enjoyed the food, conversation with the waitress & the atmosphere very much. The food is not fancy but well prepared and very tasty. The servings were very large. I am now a staunch advocate of huckleberry syrup & we bought some to take with us along with huckleberry preserves. This... More

Had breakfast after a stay in the inn. Huckleberry pancakes, biscuits and gravy. Not the best, but all right. Good service, reasonably priced.
