We were putting up at the lodge across the road and had strolled over for a couple of beers. Great choices, great service.

I so wanted to love this place. The whole area really needs a good place to get a good meal, but sadly the food was just OK. It's really a great hang out and brew pub and if you like a local micro brew, you will enjoy it. We had the cheddar burger (every great brew pub should have a... More

It's a great brewery with really good food. The clam chowder was outstanding! It was rich and creamy with plenty of clams. Their 3 bean chili was delicious, but needed a little heat...spice wise. The beer was cold and kept cold on a frozen something that I can't name. It was covered in snow and beautiful!

For Oregon, this isn't the best brewery you could go to. However, for the Mt Hood area, I would recommend trying out this place. Decent beer and food, just nothing special. They were actually out of the beer I wanted, and ended up getting the Blond Ale, which I didn't like very much. I ended up trying the Mt Hood... More

We had lunch here. My wife had the fondue. Absolutely fabulous! Not just dipping bread, but apples, potatoes and carrots. I had the Hamburger. Probably one of the best I have ever had, bar none. The server was very attentive, and did a great job. Neither my wife nor I drink, so we cannot comment on their brew selection.

We stayed at the best Western hotel next door. Ate dinner our first day and lunch the following day here. Very popular spot, with great food. Ate a bowl of the three bean chili for dinner and a Tillamook cheddar burger the next day. The gluten free bun was good, not dry or tough, and tasted more like a bakery... More

We had an unexpected and delicious lunch at Mt. Hood Brewing! The food was top rate, fresh and original. The skillet cobbler outstanding. Really a must have stop for lunch when you are in the area. Great waitress.

Heading up to Government Camp we stopped by the brewing company for drinks and food. There were 4 of us and all of us enjoyed our food and the service was very good. Be sure if you head up to that area in the winter time either put on chains or make sure you have all terrain tires as a... More

Description
In January 1991 the Mt Hood Brewing Company opened, serving locally-produced beers and hearty pub fare in a family-friendly atmosphere. In October 1992, the newly constructed ten barrel brewery rolled out its first barrel. Eight distinctive ales are produced by the union of pure glacial water, Pacific Northwest barley and hops and the inspiration of the Mt Hood Brewing Co's brewers. These delightful beers can be enjoyed at the Mt Hood Brewing Co brewpub in Government Camp and throughout Timberline's other Mt Hood restaurants. Oregonians can also find these ales on draft at restaurants throughout the state. The Mt Hood Brewing Co was founded upon the notion that, like the best wines, beer is best produced in small, handcrafted batches utilizing the finest ingredients. The brewery's commitment to this standard demands that each keg arrives at its destination while still in its prime, fresh and wholesome. Thus, none of the beer leaves the State of Oregon. Like the beer, Mt Hood Brewing Co's food is always fresh and locally-sourced. Kids and adults alike enjoy the pub's tasty starters, signature pizzas and hearty entrees. Many menu items are prepared with Mt Hood Brewing Co beer and are best paired with a cold pint. Thousands of skiers, tourists and locals have made the Mt Hood Brewing Co an institution on the south slope of Mount Hood.
