This little restaurant is tucked away in an alley next to a quicky mart and a laundry. the service was good and the food was excellent. One thing I like is the menu changes weekly so there will always be a new dish to try. we started with the Gnocchi di tartuffi and oysters bordelaise which were very good. to... More

The food here is good and very Italian. But the prices drove us away after 2-3 visits. It is also often closed when the owner goes to Italy.

If we ever want to treat ourselves or friends this is where we go. It's not cheap, but it is worth it. You can check their menu out online and see what you think. I don't make the kind of money I used to, so my visits are less frequent now. It doesn't matter what I order... I always like... More

It's been years since my first trip to Bruno's and I no longer live in Eugene, but when I make it back for a visit, it's still the one place I want to go. I think they must have the odd off day, judging from the other reviews, but I haven't encountered one! We go on special occasions, and even... More

We go to Bruno's for all our special occasions. The meal is always perfect, the service wonderful, the atmosphere delightful. It is the best food in Eugene!

Based on mixed reviews, we decided to try Bruno's. We were seated and the stink of musty carpet was overwhelming. So, we moved to the "outer" room. The table had a 2 inch slope and the chairs were patched with duct tape. We got our menus and saw a $3.50 charge for bread. We left. The place is a dump.

Went for a dinner with my fiancee, really the food was average. Not a lot of variety for wine or drinks. Plates were too colourful but tasted average. The whole restaurant looked homey but the whole experience wasn't satisfying at all and the bill was shockingly expensive. Wouldn't go again.

This place is very overrated! I guess when the city had "slim pickens" this place might have seemed sophisticated and elegant, but it is far from that. Charging for bread when the prices are high enough to absorb the cost, unless the bread is something special, is just plain bad business. I had fish cooked in vegetable oil, not any... More

There are lots of good restaurants in Eugene, (and Seattle), but Bruno's stands above them all when you take that first bite of your entree. My colorful scallops arrived with gorgeously shaved asparagus, barely cooked and bright green, set off with a perfect, small lavender pansy. The ripe strawberry, honeydew melon and bright red ribbon of...something...announced that it was time... More
