A wall of beer from everywhere, plus a huge select of beer on tap. This is a great casual place to grab a bite to eat and have beer, beer, beer. Whew! .5L is just the start of your "tab". The food is good too. Order food and beer at the bar, after tasting a few beers to select from.... More

We went here for lunch as recommended by family. We loved the ambiance. Our kind of place! The bartender was attentive and served us many beer samples to try. I had the Cheese and Charcuterie plate which was great! My husband had the Chicken Sausage with Peppers and wasn't crazy about the flavor. The harissa sauce wasn't his cup of... More

Fun place with good beer and interesting food choices. My party enjoyed a salad, a quinoa bowl, and hot pretzel. Food quick, hot, and delicious. Seems great spot to meet group of people. Also top notch bottle shop.

We go here every so often, and it's one of my favorites. Arrive early because it gets crowded! They always have a great tap list, and you can also select your option of beer from around the world right out of their massive beer fridges. The food is upscale bar food, and the sandwiches are pretty tasty and satisfying. Not... More

Excellent place to stop at if you love craft beer. They have about 20 beers on tap and hundreds of beers in cans and bottles. The food menu rotates but you can't go wrong with the mac and cheese...just do yourself a favor and add bacon to it! Fast, friendly and courteous service. I must stop place for good food... More

Outstanding beer cheese soup, pretzels, and sandwiches (the Goudist!) at a reasonable price. Casual, friendly atmosphere but don't go here for quiet conversation during busy times (Thursday-Saturday evenings).

Its about beer -- they have about 20 kinds on tap -- lots of local and very good. The kitchen is good with tasty food prepared rapidly but its "fast food" not relaxed dinner. Lots of the younger crowd in the 20's and 30's here for the beer. For us older crowd, its awful noisy to be able to talk... More

Place was packed, always a good sign! Seating is a bit of a challenge but patience is a virtue. We were in Eugene on ST. Patrick's day and stopped in for an early evening meal. I had THE DIP my wife had THE MONA LISA. (photos) Both were very good and the price was very fair for the amount of food... More

The Bier Stein seems perpetually packed. Most problematic aspect is finding a place to sit and eat...or drink. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent, beer is varied, cold and generally reasonably priced. Staff are friendly. Even though the place is crowded the noise level is tolerable most days. They still, in their cooler of hundreds of beers, don't have the... More
