Carver cafe is definitely overrated. The service is slow,f you are wanting a hot breakfast it will not be and unless you are a regular they ignore you.We watched them clear a couple tables then not wipe them down.If something that simple is not done makes me wonder what the kitchen cleaning routine is.Yuk!!!

The staff in the bar are top notch! The food is always consistent and tasty. The peanuts are so nice to have while waiting for food.

Several friends stopped in for breakfast and was not disappointed. Friendly mom and pop establishment. Great food with a smile.

It's too bad that the carver cafe has a terrible owner and depends on child labor to run her cafe. Kris has depended on her thief of a granddaughter Kayla and her other minor grandchildren to run her crappy cafe for years. They are rude, disrespectful, and lazy. They walk right by their customers who try to get their attention.... More

We have eaten here twice.. both when friends from out of town have visited and have had great breakfasts both times. I was reluctant to try Carver Cafe due to all the negative reviews but had delicious breakfasts in which every one was happy with their fare. Our table's orders were diverse... roast beef hash with biscuits, I had an... More

My wife wanted to visit this diner because of it's association with the Twilight movie. So we had high hopes. When we arrived we were pleased with its appearance (traditional). The service and food was great. I can personally recommend the omelette's for breakfast. While it did appear in the Twilight movie, there is not much to let you know this... More

I had heard a lot about this place, but I was disappointed in my experience. Hopefully, it was an isolated incident. I went in to have breakfast on a week day morning. The woman at the counter was not very welcoming. I asked for decaf coffee and she made it clear she would have to make it. I am sure... More

A nice little out of the way mom & pop type eatery. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere with nice portions with what everyone ordered. Nice finding a surprise cafe for Saturday breakfast as we explored the area.

If you like the feel of small town restaurants then the Carver Cafe is for you. Very small and very popular amongst the locals, it's a place where everyone knows your name. Breakfasts are delicious with a smaller lunch menu..closes for the day at 2:30 so don't sleep the day away and head on in for a little "down home"
