I was recommended this place by my sister. If she wasn't my sister I think I would disown for this so called recommendation. We arrived hoping to get crab, hopes we're dashed! I would like to start off by saying that our order took 50min...More

We enjoy eating here when we visit Charleston. The food is good and the price is fair. The back area is open to the bay for a nice view while dining.

We enjoyed a Happy Hour meal with wine at the High Tide Cafe late one afternoon this summer. It was fun watching people digging clams near the shore from the window by our table.

The restaurant is clean and attractive, and the servers were prompt, friendly and efficient. We sat outside on their deck enjoying the view until guests arrived who promptly began smoking. In this day and age, who allows smoking (inside or out!) at their restaurant!?!? Our...More

My family of 6 ate here today and we each had something different, and it was all perfectly prepared and just great. We sat outside on the deck in perfect weather, too. I had the clam chowder which is the best — BEST — in...More

We visited here on a road trip and just wanted a snack to get us thru til later. The clam chowder was fabulous along with the pan fried oysters. It was a good portion and enough for both of us. I would eat here again.

Fish and chips were a bit better than average, fish was moist and the chips were home-made on the spot. And they did have a good beer list. We were a large group and they handled us very well
