Mixed feelings...the food was good, but had to send back the duck breasts to be medium instead of rare. Made chewing easier. The risotto and shrimp very tasty. Downer is when the waiter starts our with what they DON'T have that is on the menu. The basement room was VERY chilly on a stormy night, had to put my wool... More

Kind of a funky restaurant off the alley, downstairs from an art gallery. Very good food, plenty of choices on the menu, a little on the expensive side

Three couples, old friends, met for dinner at Art Alley. We had a marvelous meal. Dinners come with soup and salad. I had the halibut, my husband had the rack of lamb. Wonderful dinner.

An upscale small boutique restaurant with an alley entrance in the heart of Brookings. Good food and service in small artsy rooms. Worth a visit.

We drove to Brookings for a two-day escape from very hot weather inland and tried this restaurant based upon its good reviews. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. We enjoyed some nice live dinner music. We'd go back again.

Went here with friends that had dined here previously. Because on of the friends had just had knee surgery, dropped them off at the door which left a big question mark in my head as I saw this lone creepy looking door. Parked the vehicle went in and was pleasantly surprised. A small restaurant, intimate would be more accurate and... More

I was travelling on my own and made a reservation because the Kite Festival was in town, and I'm glad I did because it was packed at 7:30 on a Friday night. All mains come with soup, salad, veggies and a starch. The rack of lamb was prepared perfectly, medium-rare, the way I like it and enough for 2 meals... More

We finally made it for lunch one day with a friend who knows the artist-owner and had been trying to get us to the Art Alley Grille for quite a while. While we waited for our soup, salads, sandwiches and pasta I had enough time to check out much of the upstairs art from a number of different artists. I... More

You wouldn't expect to find a place like this in Brookings, OR. However this place is a great setting and the food was excellent. There is art everywhere and it's a quaint setting. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Price was in normal range. If you are in Brookings, stop in here you won't be sorry.
