They have down home cooking and the staff was great. And so was the food. There are not many restaurants of this quality and food value in the same place.

This place has not had an update in many a year. We got there just after 8. The menu is very limited. Most things on the menu are $10. I had a burger and fries, my wife had clubhouse with fries. Both meals were very good. The fries are frozen but were cooked to perfection.

We had a late breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The crowds had thinned out by the time we got to the Restaurant so we had no wait time. We were welcomed and seated and got our water and menus promptly. One of us ordered the #5 Eggs Special with cheese on the eggs and the other ordered the Chicken... More

My mom and I were staring at the menu, trying to find something small enough for us to eat, when the waitress said, "Would you like to see our senior menu?" Yes, we would! They had the perfect food for us - small taco salads. Since then, we have eaten there every time we are in the area. We even... More

This restaurant is convenient to the freeway. The food was good and reasonably priced. It took a while to get our food, but there is a cute little train to entertain you while you wait.

Our sandwiches were very tasty at lunch. Microbrew beer. Broad menu.Near I84. This place is a Must Stop for Kids of ALL Ages. The beautifully crafted train track runs throughout the restaurant. It travels up and down through points of interest near Baker City. The wood carved map near the entrance is informational and fun too. The staff was engaging... More

I've been eating at this place since I can remember. Stopping in anytime my family traveled from White Salmon, WA to Caldwell, ID to visit Grandma & Grandpa. As a kid, my favorite thing was the model railroad that encircles the interior of the restaurant. This track runs along the outer wall at tabletop level encased in plexi glass. Then... More

The highway closed because of course it did. Three hours to kill, we decided to try the Sumpter Junction because there was a train on the sign and that's important to us. The food was well proportioned for the price, casual/comfortable setting. The prices were reasonable for the portion size. Our children loved loved loved the train chugging all over... More
