We visited Trapper's for a Sunday lunch. Hubbie had the blackened catfish with red beans and rice (his favorite dish here). I like to mix it up so this time I ordered Shrimp Scampi. Both dishes were delicious. We had excellent service from Hayden. I had enough left to take home for another meal. Well done, Trapper's!

I love a good oyster Po Boy, and Trappers has one of the best I've eaten. Its definitely in the top-two! The service started a bit slow, but really picked up and was very polite and attentive. Management was also engaging the customers...always a plus. Had the Cajun seasoned fries with the sandwich. A bit over-seasoned for my taste, but... More

Recently dined at Trapper's and enjoyed the fried alligator and grilled mahi mahi. Service was very good and the food was excellent but the height of my visit was the martini made by Hanna. I hereby certify her as a great straight up martini bartender!

The food was great and the atmosphere and decor are very cool. The only thing not perfect was our server. He could have done much better.

Had the gumbo soup and new England chowder, but were very good. Service was pretty good, but they weren't busy during mid afternoon. Prices seems about average. Had lots of animals and fish mounted on the walls.

I was in OKC on business and looked for a place near my hotel to sit down and eat. Trappers didn't disappoint. Their BBQ shrimp was fantastic

Good food, good service without being intrusive and a great Bourbon selection. They have 126 different kinds of Bourbon and the bartenders are very knowledgeable. They were able to recommend a Bourbon for me to try (novice) and it was great. I will come here again.... thanks guy's

I was in OKC for work and dined here on a local's suggestion. I was not disappointed. The service was great and the grilled Mahi Mahi was delicious.

Description
Trappers offers a truly unique backwoods fishing lodge atmosphere. It is located in the Reno/Meridian Hotel-Airport corridor, near the Fairgrounds. Trappers has been the "Horsemen's and Horsewomen's Headquarters" for over a decade. A 12 ft. Tall Kodiak bear greets customers as they enter the dining room filled with game trophies, authentic Indian canoes, and a live alligator tank. Favorites, along with signature mesquite grilled seafood dishes, are the blackened prime rib, mesquite grilled steaks, quail, and prime pork chops.
