We love Yamoto. The Hibachi is very good and the show is usually on par. Although it is expensive, relative to other options in Norman. It is great for an occasional excursion into something different. The Chicken selection is generally a better option than the steak.

The food was ok but the show while they cook it in front of you is good. They take extra food an throw it at you to catch in your mouth and its funny watching your friends trying to catch it. I gave it a 3 because it is very pricey.

Had reservations but that did not matter. Once finally seated took long time to get someone to acknowledge us. Once order taken took 15 minutes to bring drinks. Once we finally got the soup and salad it took over an hour before we saw anyone else. after numerous times asking where our chef was with now answer or apology he... More

This is one of my favorite Japanese steakhouse's in the OKC metro. The food is always exceptional with large portions. I always have leftover overs and the servers are creative polite and communicative!!

Love this place! Great food! Good for birthday, anniversary, any type of celebration, as well as couples' dining. We have eaten her many times and have never had a bad meal. It is somewhat pricey, but worth it if you want to splurge!

A large group of us visited to celebrate a birthday. The ingredients were fresh and looked to be great quality. The chefs were excellent both cooking and entertaining. The temperature was horrible though. It was a 100o day and we were in front of the south windows with a hot grill in the middle of the table. There was no... More

This place has terrible service and unfriendly staff. The sushi was low quality and falls apart. Not a pleasant experience at all. Would not recommend this place to anyone . It also seemed dirty in the bathroom and our table needed wiping off. They were not busy at all and still had to wait for drinks forks and napkins.

We have had dinner here several times but today decided to try their lunch. On Saturdays and Sundays you have this option. We were the first ones there so the service was prompt and good. I had steak and shrimp and it was delicious. One difference between lunch and supper if you don't get the show. They simply cook your... More

If you a big fan of hibachi - it might be not a bad idea for you to go there but sushi is definitely not something they focus on. I'm a true sushi lover, I tried them hundreds times all restaurants in Oklahoma City and many other place around the world and I can say these sushi I wouldn't come... More

Food was good but horrific service & bad attitudes from staff. Had to get our own refills & had to go looking for wait staff for service repeatedly. The sushi we ordered at the beginning was brought out after the main course and when we said we no longer wanted it & asked to speak to the manager about the... More
