Wonderful food and drinks in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Menus changes with inspiration as the the chef is.

We are in the area from South Carolina and saw this recommended on trip advisor. I am glad we stopped. Owner was very friendly and food was really good.

This is a hidden gem! The owner is very attentive and treats all of his customers like they are family. Let's just say you won't leave hungry. I had wedding soup and the fish. It was more than enough for one person. If you are a light eater I would skip the appetizer and save room for the Walnut Cookies.... More

When we first walked in this little restaurant it felt we were back in north Italy at the border with Austria. Same warm environment of home cooked meals. The food was excellent. Best Schnitzels we had. The owner is German and the food is like him no none sense! The food is fresh and will make you feel good. We... More

Travel 90 in Ohio often, stop here frequently. From the schnitzel and the goulash and paprikash to the fresh-baked Walleye, an essence of Eastern European flavors and the chefs' selections of sides add nuance to every meal. Home-cooked atmosphere with top shelf preparation. Tried the Pumpkin Soup recently, and it rivals any creamy soup I've had. A little "heat" within... More

I make a point of going here anytime I'm anywhere near Cleveland/Willoughby - it's that good. Johann is an absolute character, he made my family and I feel like we were over at an old friend's house having lunch instead of eating somewhere new in a foreign city. He was constantly making us and the people around us laugh. The... More

Daytime TV blasting on the local Fox station in a small restaurant at lunch? Have you ever watched daytime TV on Fox--I hadn't before yesterday and never want to again. Loud, brash, mindless drivel that can't be tuned out is the best I can say for it. As for the food, it was okay but nothing special. But I have... More

My boyfriend and I came here over the weekend for our 7 months anniversary dinner. Looked online and found it already had really nice reviews. We decided on it and were both very pleased with the restaurant. It was clean and well kept, plenty of seating and had a nice feeling to it. Both ordered the German sausage with a... More

I ate hear while passing through the area. The wiener schnitzel was terrific. The quality of the pork was outstanding the sides were great as well. I don't know much about baklava but I could have eaten until I passed out. One additional note the place is spotless, clean as it gets. Thanks

Johan was a pleasure to talk to and provided a great customer experience. The Wiener schnitzel was superb and the French cheesecake was a great finish to my dinner experience. Definitely will be going back the next time I'm in town.
