Blake's has one of the few soda fountains left in Ohio. I have visited this establishment for many years. The sandwiches are very tasty and definitely the cheapest place in town to eat. it is really neat to sit on one of the few stools while sipping on a 10 cent coke. The soda fountain lady Teresa, is one of... More

Great service, great prices (I mean, obviously), and fun experience. Definitely worth the stop to dine-in for lunch. :)

We had read about this place that had a soda fountain that still served 5c cokes. This is a small town drug store. We found the soda fountain in the back. There were two stools open. My wife ordered a chocolate coke. The small glass was about the size of a breakfast beverage glass. My wife went with a medium... More

We found out from an advertisement that we got at Serpent Mound about BLAKE PHARMACY and went there just out of curiosity. What an experience. We just went for the 5cent Coke, but had 2 sandwiches, 2 REAL milkshakes and 2 Cokes for 5.58$. It is a MUST stop when you are in the area. They are super friendly

We went for the 5 cent coke! It was very small, but you could get a bigger one that was still very cheap. They had cheap sandwiches too. Pimento cheese was good. It was just fun. And lets face it, there arent many places around to get a snack!

My husband and I ventured to Blake's for lunch while staying at a local B&B. The food was for sure affordable, but nothing fancy. Mostly it was fun to chat with the lady running the counter and try some interesting concoctions- specifically she had us try Marshmallow fluff mixed with coke, which was a new one for me. I'm glad... More

We stopped here for the kitsch factor. The menu is extremely limited and the food just okay, but the prices are a time warp and the flavored pops were fun. Our kids had a great time picking out cheap candy and were even each given some coins for the pinball and bubblegum machines. Unfortunately because it's in a store there... More

From the outside you would have no idea a small restaurant is inside this pharmacy. You can sit down and have a toasted ham salad sandwich with chips and a 5 cent Coke (yes, five CENTS) for $1.50 (yes, one dollar and fifty cents). Get a root beer float, chocolate shake, an ice cream. Basic sandwiches but very tasty. All... More

If you are stopping in West Union and need a cheap, quick bite to eat this is the place to go. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday and ordered two sandwiches, a coke, a root beer float and an ice cream sundae and the total was $6! Was it the best sandwich I have ever eaten? No... More

I'm not going to write a lot about this particular cultural experience, because the idea of still being able to visit a malt shop located inside a small town Ohio pharmacy in 2015 ought to say it all. It won't appeal to everybody, but I'm a fan of quirk. For those wanting to find the place, note that there are... More
