The food is excellent. I had vegetable beef soup in which one had actual pieces of beef, not as good as I make, but still good. The house salad was alright, but it was just lettuce, onion and cucumbers with ranch dressing. I had catfish which was fried in a batter like cod and was excellent. The lemonade was good.... More

I am a bit partial to the Pearson House. We've never had a bad meal or poor service. In fact, quite the opposite. This is one of those mom and pops that excels at home style cooking. It's almost like stepping back in time as you enter an old building that has be remodeled with many pictures on the walls... More

Love the salmon patties and lasagna. Breakfast and homemade bread are also good and the pies are out of this world. Many people just go for the pie!

I ordered a chicken liver lunch. It was pretty good. The restaurant itself is also interesting. This is a great place for a quiet meal with a friend.

Odd setup when we arrived with reservations, but not enough seats ti accommodate our group. We uncomfortably sat and waited for other people to leave till we could seat our party. Owner is scruffy old man who attempts to be funny. Having said all that, food was good, wouldnt say the best ive ever had. Cherry pie ok but alittle... More

Hadn't been here for a few years to see their renovation (they still kept it old school!). My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. Very clean, very friendly, and yummy food! They have been in business over 30 years and I love to support small-town businesses!

Save room for dessert. The food is wonderful, right down to the homemade bread and pies. So many to choose from!! Quaint, small town restaurant with good service, good prices and a little local history thrown in. I75, take the State Rt. 571 West. A little off the beaten path but soooo worth it. A great place to celebrate PI... More

Pearson House is an excellent small town restaurant. Food and service are very good. The restaurant is known for their pies, baked in house! Save room for a piece, or take a piece home! With sandwiches they offer the choice of veggies, or chips. Choose the healthy choice! Big menu, so return often to try various selections.

Get off I75 at 741 and head west just a few miles to experience a step back in time. Forget the fast food joints. The deal here is better and the food is comfort food that is well worth a short detour. You'll find old favorites here such as hamloaf and meatloaf and hot shots with gravy. Unlike most restaurants,... More
