Best Lebanese food in Toledo! Extensive wine list. Portions are enormous. This restaurant is not very big and gets extremely crowded on weekends. Reservations recommended.

First I must say the portions are Huge! I would recommend sharing and dinner the traditional Mediterranean style of everyone trying a little of everything. I would not recommend the sliced steak with Hummus. Somehow hot meat on hummus doesn't work for me. They give you tons of hot traditional pita bread that goes great with Babaganoush or hummus. I... My family and I have been going to The Beirut for years and it never disappoints. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We tend to order a bit of everything, it's like a mini feast! Some of our staples include: Fatoosh, Kafta, Grape Leaves, Hummus, Kibbi, Artichoke Hearts and Beirut Filet Tips. Flavorful and fresh- exactly how Lebanese Cuisine... More

My wife took back our Tabbouleh because it was saturated with water and inedible. She did not care for the Lamb Kibbe either as it was strong and gamey to her, I did not notice. The problem was the rude and yelling man from the kitchen that came out and stuck his face within inches of hers and loudly proclaimed:... More

This Toledo staple still delivers wonder Lebanese food in a setting that is timeless. I had not been in the Beirut for about five years and was happy to see that they still deliver quality at a reasonable price. It also has a surprisingly good wine selection.

Probably my favorite restaurant in the World (and yes we have been to all 7 continents). You must try the Raw kibby, fatoosh, hummus, grape leaves...put them all together in the warm pita bread and drizzle on some oil. Take home the leftovers (yes you will have leftovers!) And fry up the kibbie in some olive oil...see out on the... More

This middle-eastern, family owned restaurant was excellent. The food is delicious, service friendly and the prices are great. The shwarma melts in your mouth. and the bread is hot.

There are some that will be mad at this review but it's my opinion that this place really really isn't that good. It's old it's not really the flavors I like when it comes to that kind of food and I have found much better places to go to for medditranian food around the area with a newer better feel.

Thank Chris B
