Great food, great prices!! Friendly atmosphere... Would return again. If you leave hungry, it's your fault.

This was a great place for quiet lunch with a dear friend. The servers seemed busy when we first arrived so our introduction to the Brownstone Tavern was a little casual. The servers did not ignore us, though. They may not have known exactly how we were seated or what we needed next, but they all made sure to acknowledge... More

My dad's 81st birthday and all he wanted is Brownstone's liver and onion. A nice portion heaped with onions and mushroom. They even brought him out a small cake with candle. I have dined here several times. I always say it is the old folks place because of the atmosphere but that doesn't mean it isn't great. It is dark... More

On our recent visit to Toledo, we were hoping it was "prime rib weekend" and we were lucky that it was. My wife and I both ordered the 8oz. prime rib and it was excellent as we remembered it from when we lived near Toledo. Our server, Nicole, was very friendly and took excellent care of us.The margaritas that my... More

On a road trip west we stopped in Toledo so my wife could finally state accurately"hol Toledo." We rolled into the Brownstone with a gnawing hunger and a vicious thirst. I have to say the. Martini glass was spectacular but the drink itself was a little anemic. Not send back bad but not up to snuff. it only filled half... More

The chili (Joe's) was excellent. The 8-slice BLT was terrific and they accommodated my request for Swiss cheese on it.

This is a small, charming place with outstanding customer service. The waitress was so friendly and so understanding and accomodating when she realized I wasn't pleased with my ribeye steak that she quickly swept it away and replaced it speedily with a sirlioin that was perfect. Made us feel very valued as customers. My husband had the cod basket which... More

Another great dinner at Brownstone last night. The food is always delicious, and they actually know how to cook a medium steak to perfection. Prices are reasonably and you definitely won't go away hungry. Try the Long Island Ice Tea, best I've had in a long time. Service, including the bus boys, is awesome.
