Had the Ruben. Decent size for the money ($7) although the average plate probably costs 28 bucks a person. Little too salty. Service is a little slow - and the help I over heard a couple employees says is high turnover.

I must admit I was really looking forward to eating here after listening to so many of my family members talking about how great their "ribs" are, but what I experienced was not what they described. 1. The "ribs" are NOT ribs. They can call them "country ribs" all they want but all they are long cuts of pork chops.... More

Went to Portsmouth to visit my daughter in school at Shawnee State. She suggested the Ribber. LOVED IT! Food was good and a decent price. My whole family enjoyed it.

There are only a few menu choices here but that's all you need the steak was outstanding and the prices were reasonable for such huge portions. The service was really friendly and I would definitely come back

This place has the best ribs I've ever had. The filet is also awesome as well. Usually we order both when we go. We order the filet and a large portion of ribs. We eat most of the steak and have ribs to take home. There aren't a lot of options as far as sides go but the meat makes... More

Traveling to or through Portsmouth Ohio ? Stop by the Ribber. This should be a national chain like roadhouse, Applebees, etc. You wont be disappointed...

This is a great place for ribs and steaks. The steaks are big and all cooked over a wood BBQ pit. Ribs are not what you expect. Most places serve baby back ribs but here they are what I had always called "Hollywood ribs". They are more like a pork chop so when you order you order by the rib.... More

Where to begin? Long wait. Mediocre Service. Meat is full of fat & gristle. Unevenly cooked. All cuts are the same, besides the t-bone. Only house beer on tap. No waiting area. Usually shoulder to shoulder while you wait on a table. If you have to go experience this place, beware. The Good. Hickory filled smokers can be smelled a... More
