My wife have enjoyed both the House of Hunan in Medina and Akron for years, but I would not recommend the House of Hunan by Suen in Medina if you want to take it out. On 25 May we thought that we would try House of Hunan rather than our usual Chinese food vendors in town. So we ordered typical... More

First time eating here. Stopped by after golf on a Thursday afternoon. Had to wait 10 mins until they reopened at 4. It was worth the wait. Food was really good and enjoyed it more than the one in Akron. I think of going back any day. The taste of the food made a lasting expression.

Typical Midwest all-in-one Asian restaurant. None are done exceptionally well. Limited sushi bar menu. The Thai menu is off Pintrest and not authentic. The Chinese food is okay. They rely waayy too much on their sauces for flavor. $1.50 extra for brown rice! Seriously? They need to pick ONE Asian specialty and stick to that. Much better sushi and Thai... More

Always great for selections - volcanno, bento box & family basket are all excellent. Great wine list. Service is superior to most.

Had a great lunch there yesterday. We sat up front in the big comfy chairs with the windows over looking the charming square. Really the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. The won ton soup is delicious, wish I would have ordered an extra bowl to bring home. Our entree's were a cut above the normal Chinese fair in the... More

We have been here several times and the food is always good. Great drinks - especially the Sake! Mongolian Beef is the best here! The inside is very nice especially when its nice outside and they open the sliding doors. Always be sure to make a reservations here though, if you walk in with out one on the weekend the... More

The House of Hunan is just off the square in downtown Medina. They have an extensive Chinese menu as well as a really good Sushi menu. Many places do not give you a good Sashimi menu, but they do. In the summertime they open the front up so it's like eating on a patio. Good food and reasonable prices. What... More

This is our go to for any Asian dining option that we're in the mood for in Medina. Their sushi, Thai, Chinese, & other options are awesome. Plus, the decor & setting is really special.

This place is great for lunch and dinner. But lunch prices are much cheaper than dinner prices for the same dish. The martinis are excellent! But what keeps us going back is RYAN! He's very hospitable hostess! And always making sure about every detail of your meal or drinks. He makes sure you get what you asked for! And makes... More

Made reservations for 2 at 5 PM on a Saturday. Place didn't seem busy but other parties were given wait times so I'm glad we called that morning. Parking is free on the street right in front of the place but open spots are hit/miss. We got there a little early and walked right in. We scored a large square... More
