Curtis was given a tough situation and really had to work hard to make 2017 work. He did a great job and will return even better in 2018. Great atmosphere. Beautiful scenery. Fantastic Perch! great drink prices. It does not get much better than this...More

Sitting outside along the river and watching the trains go by is one of my favorite things. You can't be in a hurry because it does take time, which I've never understood, but the scenery and atmosphere is unmatched in Huron.
We read decent yelp reviews and expected a decent experience. Patio was nice. Service very slow and food was below average. For $16 I would have expected great perch....no. Drinks were generous though.

I really enjoy the Viking's Den for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The perch dinner is one of my favorites. I also enjoy sitting out on the deck watching the boats go by enjoying a few drinks with friends. The staff is always friendly.
Been here many times and it remains a nice hide-away on the Huron River. Had the steak hoagie for the first time, usually get the perch, and it was very good for an $8 special. You can pull your own boat up, or relax watching...More
