Went Mothers Day with 10 others for Dinner. Selection of Menu was excellent. Lamb Roast excellent. All Meals served as quick as possible considering amount of people. I ordered Pizza, and although very tasty half of the base was very burnt and very hard to cut through. (Staff advised of this, and shown base, AND NOTHING was said to me... More

Clean n comfy room, great view, the food in the restaurant here is tasty too, friendly staff, close to Burnie city center, so if u like u can't go for a walk there for shopping or movie, it's also close to Stanley to see the nut, it's not too far from cradle mountain, it's a nice place for a... This is an older hotel and is set up mainly for eats, drinks and entertainment so the rooms are dated and sparsely furnished but more than adequate for a good nights sleep. The view from the room we were in (#1) was fabulous with the river across the road and The Wharf where we had our evening meal. The wifi... More

we had a look at Stanley - quaint, interesting and picturesque. Loved Burnie, Penguin and Ulverstone. Friendly people, cosy little towns and we were lucky to have good weather.

The meals served were reasonably priced but very good value.T bone steak done to perfection, schnitzels with 2 different toppings and garlic prawn served up with minimum delay and it was a busy night. The drinks were als good hotel prices and the waiters and bar maids were most helpful and efficient. 5 of us enjoyed our evening meal on... More

A typical pub menu, steaks, fish, parmas, pasta.Being down by the waterfront there were seafood sauce options. What I had was nice and we'll cooked by still nothing to brag about.

Would not hesitate to recommend the The Wharf Hotel Wynyard for a lovely meal. We were a group of 15 family members in Wynyard for a reunion/surprise birthday celebration. Recommend.

Had lunch here recently & it wasn't too bad, although a little on the pricey side if you didn't get the lunchtime special off the blackboard. My lamb cutlets were 3 big juicy ones with lots of chips & salad for $31. My partner had the crumbed flounder for $15 with chips & salad which she said was very good.... More
