Great 24 hour loaves of bread and delicious scallop pies. We travel 2 hours each way for their delicious bread and scallop pies twice a month and well worth the trip.
The pie pastry is not soggy and that in it's self now days is wonderful, the pies are generally quite full of plump delicious scallops and at $7:50 a pie good value.

Every time I visit Ulvie, I pop into Olivers, their vanilla slices are wonderful. The large cakes are great value at $6.00 to take home. During school holidays I take my son who loves the sausage rolls and pies. Overall a great feed, customer service prompt and friendly, and great value.

Staff are super friendly and professional, cafe is exceptionally clean and well organised and the food is perfect. From the large fresh apple cake for $7 - yes, you read that right - seven dollars! To the great coffee and piece de resistance scallop pie (perfect pastry, incredible flavour) everything tastes great. We cannot recommend Oliver’s highly enough!

Stopped in for lunch - between us we had pies and sausage rolls and a freshly made sandwich. Such nice food - loved the sausage roll actually ordered an extra one as it was so good.! Delicious cakes which we got to takeaway after lunch. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again on our next trip to Ulverstone.

Had the famous curried scallop pie and my wife had the mornay one. Both were delicious. Staff super friendly and it was great to see a 40 yr local bakery still kicking along with great enthusiasm.

We were traveling and called in for coffee.The pies and cakes,off which there was a large selection,looked delicious.So were ordered coffee with a pie and a piece of cake.The staff are friendly and attentive.The coffee was great,the pies are too,the pastry is just right,the cake we had was the best vanilla slice and blueberry scroll we had eaten for ages.We also purchased a loaf of bread,it was magnificent.If you are in the area call in here ,it’s well worth it.

I purchased a family size scallop pie, curry, for a birthday celebration for an 85 and 65 year old. It was the best scallop pie the 85 year old had eaten and we all agreed! Highly recommended.

We had some meat pies for lunch and they were absolutely beautiful. hot chocolate was the same. very reasonable prices and the service was great very friendly.

Great breakfast and very reasonably priced. The vegetarian delight breakfast of spinach, eggs and avocado on toast was excellent. The sourdough was a quality bread. They also have a range of inexpensive quality cakes baked on the premises.

The Bakery was good but service not so good. You order a sandwich and coffee and they come separately. Coffee came first and sandwich came 30 minutes later. By then the coffee was finished. I mentioned to the staff and they told me in future to tell them you want the coffee with the sandwich. Not a good reply. Would not visit again.

Steak & mushroom pie not enjoyed at all by husband, in fact he said it was the worst he ever had. My savoury scone was tasteless but enjoyed the sausage roll. Coffee & chai was nice but could have been a bit hotter

I ordered 2 scallop pies from here, I have been disappointed so far in Tasmania with the quality of scallop pies. I have to say these scallop pies were sensational, I counted 8 good sized scallops in a tasty curry mornay. Great pie would recommend going there again for a scallop pie.
