Nice surprise to find a decent restaurant with good service in s sleepy Stanley. Whilst nothing to write home about, Xanders serves much better than the usual pub grub

My wife and I looked forward to dining at Xanders, and overall, we were not disappointed. The food was good, but slightly fell short of our expectations. The wine list was also limited.

We were so disappointed by Xanders, the food is bland and way overpriced. The first night we ate at the pub and was saving the last night for Xanders cause it looks impressive and the menu looked good but was such a let down ....More

Thank you for your kind review, but I would like to point out that Xanders Brasserie is permanently closed and the restaurant in its place is Xanders On Church.. We are trying to remove this listing but having no luck with TripAdvisor. They seem unable...More

This was an enjoyable evening however the hype around the seafood sampler a little overrated. A sampler in my humble opinion needs to contain seafood that is actually in season and being caught and served fresh not thawed. A better approach during the off season...More

This review belongs to Xanders on Church. You did not dine at The Brasserie at Xanders, since we retired and closed 31 August 2015. This review needs to be removed and placed in the correct location, as Trip Advisor seems unable to do this

Wonderful new owners. See my review for Xanders on Church. The food was superb, matched by excellent service with an informed description of the local origins of the menu. A foodies delight!

We did not relabel our business. We closed our doors on 30 August 2015, and a new restaurant opened in our place.

I have been to this restaurant several times over the years and the food and service has never faltered. This food is as good as any top restaurant in any major city. The pork belly is to die for. The skin is crispy and the...More

The pork belly was the best I've ever had and the seafood crepe was mouth watering. So glad we were in town when they were open.

This something special, the food could be serviced at any 5 star place and it would be good. everything was great, a credit to the owners. We started with scallop crepe and prawn cocktail, both were very good, and not a speck left on the...More
