The pizza was very good but it was quite expensive. Wanted to get it delivered but the lady in the phone said she didn’t know where our address was. Maybe an implementation of google maps would be helpful. Besides that, pizza was amazing and I...would recommend as long as you are aware of the price and willing to pick it up.More

Tried to order takeaway on a Wednesday night, rang 5 times and got a message to say to ring back each time, in the end drove to the restaurant and found it to be closed, very disappointing. Went to the wharf Bar And Bistro and...had A wonderful meal with great service.More

I've. Been getting pizzas from Trimboli's for several years I've lived in St.Helens. I have to say they are the nicest pizzas I've had. I look forward to ordering more in the future.I highly recommend trying this establishment out. You won't be disappointed. Col.

This was quite literally the worst pizza we have ever had, it had no flavour, barely any topping, it was over priced and to be honest the pizzas at the IGA looked 100% better! We went to the park nearby and even the sea gulls...had no interest in it and that’s saying something! We went and bought fish and chips which we should have done originally!More

The worst pizza experience in a life time .. pizzas are usually in a range from fabulous to excellent to I have had better ones. This pizza experience was of the scale - I would guess the ingredients are shipped from China on a pre...made layer of tasteless cardboard .. truly $17 for a mini pizza size was $15 too much. Friendly staff but obviously not a clue what goes on in making something that should have fresh ingredients and beautiful flavours. It was our 4- or 5 th attempt to order a pizza here after previously experiencing the advice of long waiting times even with few tables occupied and the delivery van being stationary across the street. Maybe noodles are a safer option for whoever owns this restaurant which is a travesty and an insult on Italian food culture.More

This evening 2 of us visited the Tromboli family pizza restaurant and I have to say my ghast was completely flabbered when, considering we had to phone to book, we were the only 2 in the 60 seater emporium and during our visit, no other...diners joined us! There was no sign of any family Italian influence and indeed there was no evidence of anything fresh. My pizza was overheated and the stuck on topping looked much like molten plastic. My friend was certain that his pasta came out of a packet and lacked anything Italian or indeed anything with a flavour. If you are looking for a genuine authentic Italian family food experience then best to stay away! Seems strange for there to be more staff than customers and my feeling is that if you want to witness a unique and solitary dining experience then make your way quickly to this restaurant as there is little chance it will still be there under its current guise for more than a few more short days!! Worst restaurant experience I have had for a very long time. I may need psychiatric treatment to get over this! I don’t seem to be able to award minus 5 stars!!More

This was one time we probably should of took notice of some recent reviews. Two of the last three reviews were terrible, but gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. We ordered pumpkin soup, garlic bread, 2 serves of garlic prawns and a Hawaiian...pizza for our 9 year old. The pumpkin soup was an ok flavour, was luke warm had some concentrated lumps in it that leads me to believe that it was either from a tin or pouch. The garlic bread was again store bought and nothing special. The first serve of garlic prawns came out and it was immediately apparent that they weren’t cooked. The meat was translucent. A few of them were cooked, but majority not. The prawns were sitting in an almost raw garlic creamy sauce that was dominated by the texture of minced garlic. We called the waitress over, who was quite busy. She had a look and then took them. We asked about the second serve. Was pretty obvious that they didn’t have the second serve on the docket. A few minutes later, I’m assuming it was the chef that came and apologised, however she seemed more concerned that we had ordered two serves. In the meantime the pizza arrived. It was very dry. Our son said he enjoyed it. I tried some and didn’t have the same opinion as he. The prawns returned. This time very cooked, almost a half of their original size. There was much less sauce on the plate as well. I’m not sure if the chef cooked them longer just to make sure, or wasn’t happy with us for saying something. The meal came with some dried out rice and a salad on the same plate. I’m sorry to say we won’t be eating at Trimboli’s next time we are in St Helens.More

Thin, chewy and undercooked base with flavourless supermarket toppings cooked to smithereens. Could count on one hand the pieces of chicken (not fresh) on the BBQ chicken pizza. Overpriced, terrible quality. Definitely do not recommend.
