We didnt eat as it was a bit early for lunch but the beer was cold and the welcome was warm and the place had a great ambience. As a pub on the outer regions of circular head I would recomend it for any locals, tourists, travellers in the region

We stopped if at this venue. We came in and was greeted so warmly by the staff. A peaceful place with beautiful tables to sit and eat and an open sports bar. Just a gorgeous place to stop for some home-cooked food. Marrawah maybe small but that is truly one of many heart warming positives about this sweet place. Highly... More

We called in for lunch today after 5 hours of driving, walking and sightseeing on the Tarkine Drive. Lovely warm fire and a friendly staff member greeted us. We each had a steak sandwich which was $18. The piece of steak was tender and quite large. It also had an egg, bacon and salad. The chips were good. We both... More

While visiting this part of Tasmania we were surprised to find a pub off the beaten track that actually served a good meal, for a husband who isn't really into Burgers, mine had one and enjoyed it immensely, I had the Nacho's and they were delicious. The place was clean the staff friendly and there was a huge fire. What... More

A great country tavern! A roaring open fire to welcome cold visitors! They even moved our meal closer to the fire so were would be warm! Food basic, but tasted great! Thanks!

After visiting Woolnorth, we drove to Marrawah Tavern for lunch. We enjoyed the open wood fires, the locals and the others visitors/ tourists. Good pub food. Then we drove to Arthur River, crossed the river, which had been in flood, was a log jam up river from the bridge, we went to 'The Edge Of the World, about 5 minites... More

My husband and I drove out from Smithton to have lunch after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. At this country pub the service is friendly, the meals are great and the place is a credit to the owners. I had the steak sandwich and my hubby had the rissoles. Both were huge servings, perfectly cooked and... More

We had dinner this week at the Marrawah Tavern. Really good country cooking and very low prices. My delicious Chicken Mornay was only $15. The place was crammed with firefighters from New Zealand, Canada and Alaska. I felt proud of the staff for the way they pumped out the meals, generously served and oh so tasty. The pub is on... My partner and I stopped off for some lunch and were very impressed. I had a perfectly cooked and tender steak with mushroom sauce, salad and mushroom gravy while my partner had a steak sandwich. Both happy with our meals and both decent sizing!

My husband and I had dinner here yesterday during an overnight visit to the area. Service was very good and the meal was lovely. We recommend this as a great meal stop in the area.
