The scallop pie was salty as the sea and tiny for $8. Only tourists will call it the best due to all the marketing material. Scout around. It's thus far the bottom of my list.

I was told the breakfasts are very good, but we called in for lunch and our traditional scallop pie.......fantastic. A Tassie tradition, but please don't spoil them with tomato sauce.

Stopped here on a work trip to hobart, we were off the spirit at 0630 and Ross seemed like a great breakfast spot. We have been here a number of times before, lovely place, really nice people and great food, can't go wrong

Topped up with fuel earlier. Been told of the bakery. Busy little shop noisy but friendly staff. To eat in you are charged an extra 45cents. Rich gravy with the chunky steak pie. Vanilla slice average plus. Latte good strength. Cheers beachy

We called in here just after 3.30 PM on a bitterly cold winters day, because I had memories of an open fire in the tearoom. Well so much for the warm welcome. The fire was out. The vacuum cleaner was humming, and the floor to...More
