Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous food at this quirky cafe by the water. Avo on toast with pomegranate and the chia pudding absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough. Best in the region.

While exploring Port Sorel we came up this little gem. I took photos but we had already eaten so didn’t go in. We were staying in Penguin for a short break but I wanted to return the next day, and so we did. Just perfect...!!!! Welcoming service and food outstanding made with love. The Workshop Cafe is my No.1 favourite place to go in Port Sorell for a lovely lunch with my friends and family. They welcome everyone into their little hidden away gem and allow dogs there which is amazing for my family. Couldn’t ask for much...better!!!More

The crepes with Nutella and beeped were amazing, one of the best things I've eaten in months. Lovely service and also excellent that they had so many GF options.

Odd operating hours. Overpriced , nice spot though. Needs to be open more, it's strange. They must not want the business.

I visit this little hidden gem a few times a week, if I do a walk I make sure I end up there for my morning coffee, it’s the best. Smashed Avocado is also divine.

Heard good reviews about this cafe and we were not disappointed when we visited. The iced coffee was refreshing but the best thing was the smashed avocado on sourdough with mushrooms and feta sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, chilli flakes and herbs - absolutely delicious. Finished...off with a custard tart cake which melted in the mouth. Great surroundings, friendly staff and super food. Highly recommended.More
