Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. The vegan options were delicious, we shared and tried them all.

Didn't know where to eat whilst staying in the area so checked out this place. Was pleasantly surprised, good friendly service, good prices and great venue. Would recommend, chicken parma was very tasty and good size

We hadn't booked and were staying at Storm Bay B & B in White Beach. They accomodated us with a table for 2 and the service was very good and the food was very nice. Nice friendly staff

Very disappointed, food was terrible and very slow. Plenty of staff but no direction, everyone seemed to be confused. Waited long periods between ordering drinks and actual service even when reminded. Not even that busy and it took half an hour for our entree. Never...going back and would not recommend.More

Simple and tasty food with a reasonable variety was our fare on the Three Capes walk each night and morning. The food was good, staff young and enthusiastic and the room was great for big tour groups. We would have partied on but curfew and...closing prevented too much party. A lovely restaurantMore

For a place advertising itself as steakhouse, why was there not a single steak dish on the menu. My pork belly dish had crackling the consistency of latex. I reckon it was microwaved. My entree of squid was poor average pub food at best. The...dessert was ok but too sweet with nothing to balance it. The wine was good, but that was it.More

This restaurant was at our hotel so we gave it a try. The food was good and you can either choose from the bistro menu (more pub food) or the al la cart restaurant menu. The chocolate brownie desert is to die for :)

We stayed at Stewarts Bay Lodge for two nights and ate breakfast and dinner at On the Bay plus visited for afternoon drinks. We really enjoyed the Restaurant and would recommend it to others. Our first night was a group dinner which was handled very...well, while the second night we had booked a table for two and unfortunately were seated next to a table with two people sneezing and coughing and not wearing masks. It became such a distraction given our COVID times that we moved outside to have our dessert. Luckily the weather was warm and quite pleasant.More

We ate at On the Bay during at stay at Stuart's Bay Lodge. Excellent meal served by lovely staff. Chose a local Bream Creek wine we hadn't heard of, a Schonburger, and it was terrific.

Food was average unfortunately. Trying too hard to make it look pretty. Just couldn’t pull it off. I had pork belly. It was super tough. Over priced. Staff were lovely and the restaurant has fabulous views. That’s where it ends I’m afraid.

Relaxed atmosphere and good food beautifully presented. Lovely to sit by the window, overlooking the water, enjoying a glass of wine. Just what you need after a long day exploring this beautiful area.

Restaurant is part of a holiday camp, close to historic Port Arthur. The views over Stewart’s Bay are great, but it’s the food that makes this place. Great quality ingredients and excellent meals. The brisket and scallops were excellent, the wine list mostly high quality...locals .More

We had a very enjoyable meal, enjoyed some Tasmanian wine and we were happy with the service we received. Great views out the window of the Port Arthur historical settlement really enhanced by the light of the setting sun.

Disappointed to say the least. Most definitely paying for the view not the food. Staff were lovely and friendly however the food was very average. We were very much looking forward to a nice meal. The menu sounded amazing however the meal itself was very...disappointing. Food was dry, over done and tasted far less appealing than described Disappointment sums it up. Undressed rocket, dry meat balls with no flavour and the mains not much better. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are happy to pay for the view alone which is quite nice Absolutely love Tasmania, this is our first negative experienceMore

Stayed at the Lodge here which was fantastic, pity the dinner wasn’t quite in the same category. Both mains were dreadful. My pork belly was more like pork shoesole, dry, stringy meat that needed to be washed down with wine both to get it swallowed,...and to add some taste. The “crackling “on top of the meat had the same crackle as a wet tissue - probably softer in texture actually. My wife had beef brisket. Shaped like small bricks, but not nearly as juicy as a real brick, the meat again was just miserable. Waiting staff were lovely, but that didn’t change the quality of the meals unfortunately. Shame, as the setting was lovely too - just not the meals. Look somewhere else I’d suggest.More
