Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We rolled into town on a Sunday and were grateful this cafe was still open. We missed the lunch/bfast menu unfortunately which sounded amazing so we ordered some scones a florentine and Earl grey tea and coffee! It was all excellent! Tea in a pot...and coffee perfect as my partners fussy with his coffee so had to mention this. Scones were huge and fluffy and homemade jam was amazing! Cream seemed sweetened a bit but considering what we were eating it didn’t matter. Florentine was honestly fabulous also! Cafe had a great retro vibe to it and the lady owner was lovely! Toilet was pretty rad to check out too! Highly recommend in this cute town!More

We were at the New Norfolk market when our teenage kids became hungry. The bakery kitchen was due to close but the staff were so friendly and the chef kept the kitchen open for us. They were so welcoming and the chef brought out our...meals - which were delicious - with a big smile. We had burgers and pancakes, milkshakes and I had a proper pot of tea. It’s not often that you get such friendly service and they were so genuine it made for a great experience. Love the retro decor as well. Thank you!More

Granted a busy night in NNF, staff seemed angry and tense at the bustling of its establishment but we keenly awaited a long time for this $15 to share we both fought over who got what toppings … hm

ANZAC Day , just before the march. We were looking for coffee "and a little something". We settled on the frittata-which was served with a delicious Greek salad. The cafe is delightfully retro 1950 50s/60s style. Lots of fascinating nostalgic items on the walls and...around the walls. The food and coffee were delicious. Friendly service. Highly recommended.More

I found the place quirky and interesting. A lot of the 70's decor reminded me of my childhood. The service was great, the smoothies awesome and the cakes/slices made that day. Overall, if you are in the area, go in and try some food, highly...recommend the smoothie, bang on!!! But be ready to step back into the 70's, which we all found nice as our age range could appreciate most of the items.More

10/10 would recommend! Food and cakes were delicious. Comfortable seating and cool retro vibe! Great for friends and family gatherings. The staff took such good care of my children and were so patient with their little meals.

Haven’t tried dining in. Very homemade, and a miss-matched casual vibe going on in here. Have bought a few cakes to take away, which were okay.

Coffee isn't to our flavour palette but the service is awesome, Lime spiders and ambience were fantastic. Town markets on regularly so you can do both.

Visiting New Norfolk and stopped here for a quick coffee. Great little cafe on the main street. Cool set up inside, old furniture and ornaments giving it a real retro feel. Friendly staff and quick service.

Beautifully done in 1960's style decor and memorabilia. A good selection of cakes and savouries. And service with a smile. I would be a regular if I lived here.

I visited this place about 6 years ago in a different location and remember the cakes as heavenly. Maybe I didn’t choose so well this time. Went back again and had the frittata which was tasty and a melting moment which was pretty good.

Cute little cafe with a nice homey vibe, with an impressive arrange of sweet treats! I went with a vanilla slice which was huge and topped with whipped cream. They have savouries too; my mother had a quiche which she didn't love but said was...alright. Can recommend the sweet selections though, for sure. I left behind a bag of shopping and they held onto it for me to collect later that week. Very kind of them. Would recommend as a fun and tasty stop as you wander through a quaint little town.More
