Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This motel is just fabulous. Stay here when I am south of the state for work and pleasure. Tim the host is great. Rooms are very clean which is what I care about. Older style does not matter but clean does! Bed and pillows are...great. 10/10 for this accommodation. And the experience is worth staying here!More

Motel immediately catches your attention. Older style motel but has been “funked” up, quirky puts a smile on your face. Room very comfortable and clean, has all you need. We decided to have a pre dinner drink before heading out. Bar has an extensive selection...of wines and drinks, also by the glass and offered an anti pesto plate so ordered the plate expecting a pre dinner nibble! It was packed with fresh Bruny Island cheeses, smoked salmon, meats, octopus, pickled veggies, pate, terrine, breads. All so fresh and tasty and we couldn’t finish the platter. Even if you don’t need accommodations, stop in for a wine and the platter. Tim is a great host and the eclectic collection will take your breathe away.More

From rolling up to reception to the lovely cosy room and then continental brekky in the lavish breakfast room , we loved loved loved staying at the Junction Motel. Easy walk to town, quiet easy place to find. Greeted by lovely manager who was so...helpful. I loved the decor inside and out but even better was the tranquil surrounds so close to town. Great stay , we can’t wait to stay again .More

The breakfast is included in the fee, which is tasty and healthy to me and out of expectation. The vibe is also warm and relaxed with beautiful music.

This is a very eccentric property but very friendly and very very comfortable. The owner/manager is always willing to help and a font of knowledge, good tips on where to eat and entertain. In the two years he has repainted, new solar and a lots...more art work. Rooms are very comfortable and very good value. Worth staying at when either travelling through or checking out the areas around New NorfolkMore

We only stayed one night. The family room we had was more like a unit than a hotel room with cooking facilities and separate bedrooms bathroom and lounge room. Finish of rooms not high quality, but fine if your not fussed about that. Breakfast good....Good value for moneyMore

We spent a night here on our trip around Tassie. The room was lovely and clean with breakfast included which was just perfect to start our next day of travelling. Tim is a very friendly host with a good sense of humour and it's almost...a sensory overload with all the bright and colourful furniture, ornaments, plants and collectables.More

Just loved this place. Owners are wonderful, great breakfast included, spotless and obviously much loved. Just a short drive to Hobart so very convenient with parking outside your door.
