The Quilted Teapot is located in an old church & stocks fabrics for quilting, preserves for sale & serves teas & light lunches. We called in here for a light lunch & were pleasantly surprised. There was a warm combustion fire burning & a lovely...busy ambience. I had a tasty vegetable soup with buttered toast. My husband had a delicious Reuben sandwich toasted. We shared 2 scones with jam & cream, fresh & delicious. Can recommend a visit.More

Accidentally gave “Patchwork Cafe” the review for here. Selection of sweet and savoury, home made style items. Fire in cooler weather. Sell patchwork fabric. Low key, cosy vibe. It’s okay.

Our first visit to this very interesting and different multi purpose business. a must for those into quilting and all other aspects of needlework etc. The cafe area supplies a good range of healthy (and different) choices. I was fortunate enough to get the very...last available wagu beef and red wine pie. However i could only give it 15 out of 10!. Will make sure we will visit again next time in New Norfolk. JKC.More

This is a dual purpose establishment, a quilter's paradise for buying all things related to the craft of quilting and a cafe with a warming fireplace. We came for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavours, the crustless salmon quiche, the lamb filo...and the simply marvelous pear and almond tart, what a shame we shared this one:) Not a crumb remained on our plates, everything was so delicious. Serving sizes were small but adequate for our lunchtime needs, in fact I received a small refund based on the size of my quiche, the last slice, it had lovely pieces of smoked salmon in it. The Quilted Teapot was well worth discovering.More

Had lunch with my wife and elderly mother in law and was fantastic. Not just for the spacious area between tables (important for aged mum’s and dads) or the lovely staff who really seemed to care but it was for the food. MIL had scones...with butter and home made jam (I would have had cream myself), Julie had a Chicken, Bacon and Avo filo, she said was great. I had a Reuben Toastie and it was just marvellous- throughly recommend. MIL had tea pot and we had mug of coffee. Was great.More

We love this cafe. Managed to fit in 7 of us at short notice and were very friendly and accommodating. Delicious meals perfect for lunch in between antique shopping. I’d come back just for the relish!! Cosy and comfortable and WARM with a lovely fire....Hummingbird cake to die for. This will be my New Norfolk ‘go to’ when bringing visitors.More

Called in for a lunch for my wife’s 60th birthday with her family. It was a little difficult as not a lot was open in the week but we are so glad that we found this. Food was great, from beef cheek pies, pasties, toasted...sandwiches and so much more Coffee was great, not to hot and quality beans. A little squishy for groups and need to book as not very big. People are fantastic.More

This is a "hobby cafe", set up by a couple whose passions are quilting and tea/coffee. Set in (what was) the Hall of St Matthew's Church, it is a space for chatting, trying a T2 Tea or great coffee, enjoying a tempting snack or browsing...the stock of quilting kits/materials etc. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a variety of tables and chairs, and a casual atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much on our way north that we called in again on our way south a few days later.More

A nice Cafe to linger with a light lunch menu. A cuppa with a variety of home made cakes is an easy choice. Tantalising fabrics were quite visible and added charm.

We regularly go to The Quilted Teapot and i thought it was about time for a review. Janine and her staff are fantastic and friendly. The food is great, especially Bernie's home made goat curry pies. They also have good coffee. We go here weekly...and always enjoy it.More
