Not too bad Chinese food. Fairly consistent my only real gripe is inconsistent opening hours and days. It's infuriating planning Chinese for dinner then finding they haven't opened and left with a choice of greasy faux flake and chips from the chipper or a drive to Launceston!

We went to the big wok on the good reviews it had on the internet. l guess that's always a problem, as if you have excellent reviews you must continue to live up to those reviews. We found every thing about this place from service to food quality, just average.

This place had mixed reviews but we were tired of 'pub meals' so decided to give it a go. We got the usual standard fare - sweet and sour pork, beef in black bean sauce, chicken with cashews, prawn crackers, fried rice and a couple of homemade spring rolls. It was just your average meal, nothing special but not as... More

Reading other people's reviews, I wasn't sure if I wanted to try. On our way back from Mole Creek, we decided to do Chinese take away. This place is really designed for s take away although you can eat there if you wish. A chief seem to be, not Chinese but a local Australian person. However, elderly Chinese lady was... More

These ladies are so funny and charismatic, but the food (slaps the palm of her hand to her forehead), oh dear. Look... we didn't get sick, so that was a bonus, but I think we'll travel the extra few kms back into town for our local, or just cook a toasted cheese sanga next time. Honey Chicken: Battered, deep fried... More

On our way from airport, we were yearning for a chinese meal and found this restaurant. It was just fabulous to sit down to have a hearty meal with various hot dishes and a pot of chinese tea. The owner was very friendly and we have a good time of getting to know each other.

The Chinese Wok has been trading for years with the same family. The food which is mostly take out (with only one or two tables for eating in) Is always constantly good.

Don't even think of getting any food from here. The owner is friendly but the food I couldn't eat one thing as it was all so terrible.

The building is one of those horrible besser block constructions so popular in in the 80s and 90s. Maybe they're still popular for all I know. They speak to a certain aesthetic that I fervently wish would die a miserable death. Inside, and if it is aesthetics that you are seeking, then this is so not going to give you... More

I have been to this restaurant one four occasions but I will not return again. I find the service good but food poor and often the quality of the food is second rate. One occasion our order was totally missed up and not what we ordered. Often young people are working in the kitchen and I am concerned about the... More
