Dave and Steve run an eclectic establishment and is my favourite place for breakfast in the Huon. The sausages are noticeably preservative-free. In the decade since they started DS has been the place for breakfast and lunch, not to mention birthday parties and most recently...a book launch. An amazing variety of excellent value mainstream fare to suit nearly every taste.More
Stopped for lunch. Was cold and wet summer's day. Very busy cafe with enormous selection of foods and cider. Sandwiches and teas/coffee filled our spaces and it was interesting to do some people watching before heading back to the road.
My friend and I felt like a giant breakfast. We had pretty much everything you can fit on the plate. It was perfection, coffee was great and I'm a coffee snob - so hard marker. What a great cafe - food’s fresh and interesting, coffee is good and the owners have plenty of attitude. The wall full of Tretchikoff’s just another outstanding feature. From Hobart my new brekkie spit ! No wonder locals are all on a first name basis....A little treasureMore
Love the coffee and the burgers are fantastic. Also do a great breakfast if you can’t be bothered cooking Saturday morning, can be pretty busy however, so it’s not fast food, eclectic table ware and chairs Fertin the 50/60s
