This rustic cafe is in a great location with an excellent view of the Hazards from the outdoor areas (both undercover and outdoor picnic-table style). The soft taco I had on Day 1 was fabulous. The fried cauliflower was awesome as was the salad filling. We went back the next day so I could repeat the experience and my husband tried the soft tacos with fish. His were also great. Coffee was good and the service timely and friendly. Apparently pizzas are their biggest sellers, but during the Covid-19 shutdowns they revamped their menu, retaining pizzas but making some changes, hence the new soft taco items.

Went there as a group, perfect service and a great atmosphere. The pizzas were exquisitely crafted, with an exceptional thin bases that was delightful, plus the right amount of gourmet toppings to create a perfect meal. The woodfired oven cook them to perfection with some charcoal/smoked flavours. The staff who clearly work across the kitchen as well as the tables, gave you the sense that they were passionate about their service and their food.

After walking late morning to Wineglass Bay Lookout we (4 adults) enjoyed a very good casual lunch here. Two serves of soup of the day (excellent carrot and chilli), fish tacos and a margarita pizza at very fair prices and we were all happy. Prompt friendly service so no complaints on any score.

Coffee decent, however nothing special Cake was good, however complete rip-off price-wise, paid AUD 8,50 for a THIN slice of dry cake. Attempting to discuss with bartender resulted in a shrug and the comments ‚expensive Region here‘ ... well

Hi Joe, I am so sorry to hear you had a negative experience and I do appreciate you taking the time to review us. Our cake prices are written clearly on the cabinet where the size of the slices are also on display, due to the price of delivery for ingredients and other costs that come with being in a remote area our prices are slightly higher than those you would find in major cities. We do try to make high quality products in return for this and I'm so sorry you did not experience this with the cake you purchased upon visiting us. We endeavour to keep our cakes fresh and delicious and will continue to do this in the future. Thanks again

Went there for pizza last night. $27 pizza had very little topping, was burnt around the edges. There was no topping on the outer 5cm edge. The waiter and waitress were absolutely filthy. Don’t bother.

We had the Haaganator pizza with pulled pork. Excellent. One of the best wood fired pizzas we have had. The crust was thin with crispy parts as a wood fired pizza should have. The toppings and crust were well balanced so that each flavor came through. Easy to get to situated between the main road and the bay in a mixed residential commercial neighborhood. If you prefer thick crust Chicago style pizzas this may not be the place for you. But if you crave wood fired pizzas this is it. Two places impressed us while in Tasmania, and this was one.

We saw a menu on the door in the afternoon that looked interesting so came back for dinner. Menu presented was quite different. When queried the waitperson said it was the same. Oddly enough four people came in after us and were also of the opinion that there had been a different menu up earlier. They had the good sense to leave. We, stupidly stayed and ordered fish and chips. While waiting as it is a small place we repeatedly heard the assistant cook referring to the other cook as chef. The fish that came out from "chef" had burnt batter and looked worse than packaged fish fingers. We paid the bill and as we were leaving the waitstaff asked how it was. When my partner answered she became extremely defensive.

We had lunch here today and enjoyed it so much we decided to return for dinner. The pizzas were excellent and the service 1st class despite the fact the staff were experiencing fridge malfunctions, the removal of said fridge and installation of a new one. Despite the disruptions the staff were attentive, calm and carried on.

Sunday night in Coles Bay. Did the Wineglass Bay cruise so we only wanted a light dinner. Ordered an Aloha pizza to share. Thin dough, mainly cheese base... and about 10 small bits of pineapple scattered over the entire base. There were small bits of finely chopped ham here and there and that was it. We've never had such a sparsely topped pizza ever before. Had read rave reviews about the pizzas here, so maybe the chef was having the night off. This is a popular holiday destination - perhaps they don't worry about getting return business. We're leaving tomorrow and won't be back.

Hi there, We are so sorry to hear you had a negative dining experience with us and appreciate you taking the time to let us know. The Aloha is one of our more minimal pizzas but I am disappointed to hear you did not find the toppings sufficient. We pride ourselves on providing amazing service and food as per our reputation and most of our reviews, and hope you may visit us again in future so we can provide this for you. Thanks again for the feedback

We stopped here for lunch after a 3.5 hour walk around Freycinet. We’re happy we did as the service was very friendly, the food we had was filling and tasty (nachos and potato and leek soup) and the coffee was good too. Also a plus is the great view from the restaurant.

We gladly ate here twice during our stay at Coles Bay. They have delicious pizzas, oysters and a variety of other options, with restaurant tables both inside and outside, and more takeaway tables next door. The view is spectacular, too. Be aware that there can be a long wait for takeaway pizza at peak times (around 6-7pm).

We had breakfast at Geographe Restaurant when we stayed in Coles Bay this week. The coffee was excellent but my breakfast of toast arrived cold, and my husband's meal of fried eggs was just average. Go for the coffee but not the food.

I had the "Mother Clucker" (don't try saying that after a couple of Vino's) chicken pizza for lunch, and was so impressed I went back for Dinner and had scallops and fish and chips. The food was fabulous and the staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was a problem. The Chef even agreed to prepare a small entrée for me that wasn't listed on the menu !!! The view of the Hazards was breathtaking, particularly at sunset, and there was even a very friendly young seagull who took a keen interest in everything going on. I'm hard to please, but Geographe pleased me and then some !!!

The staff at this cafe were very friendly and the service was great. Meal sizes were very generous and the vegetarian wrap was one of the best vegetarian wraps I've had. I also liked that the kitchen was still open for a late lunch after a morning hiking around the park. It was lovely to sit out on the deck and admire the views across to Freycinet National Park.

Freshly made pizza, fries and cauliflower. I know nothing special. Wrong - delicious flavours, served hot on nice crockery by lovely people overlooking Coles Bay. Great atmosphere but you can't tell by walking past. Do yourself a flavour.
