Mrs Jones restaurant bar lounge is located beach side at the Bluff on the second level above the Devonport surf club. Architectural development brings an open plan kitchen to the entrance of the restaurant featuring a copper clad bar and comfortable leather sofas aligning the floor to ceiling windows with magnificent seasonal views across the Bass strait. Birthday dinner

This was stop #5 of our Tasmanian tour and it was great. Very friendly staff, amazing food, It was the highlight!!! We were fortunate to celebrate a special birthday dinner recently. Very nice, on the water, pleasant ambiance. Wonderful service, most attentive, friendly and helpful....We enjoyed cocktails and the most delicious meal went all out and got every starter and a few mains to share. Chef Kobi you are an incredibly talented chef and cannot wait to try more of your Michelin star worth food. Will be back!More

Dinners with friends

I have been to Mrs Jones at least 5 times in the past 3-4 months. Given them a really good chance to prove me wrong. Unfortunately the food is not at the standard it was when the previous owners had it. The customer service, I...cannot fault! Excellent. Actually big improvement. However the food continues to disappoint. Over flavored and ruins the dish, every time I have chosen a different menu item to have the same experience, too overwhelming in flavor that I generally leave part of the meal. Please Mrs Jones, read this and look at improvements because you have the best location and excellent service, but your food is letting you down.More

Great food. Amazing view. Friendly, helpful staff. Try it, you won't be disappointed. (Upstairs in the surf club. Don't be fooled by the address)

Dinner with Coach friends travelling Tasmania

Excellent service beautiful food great location would go back again. We had a group of 20 from a coach trip of Tasmania and we all loved it here. 10 out of 10

Came for the view stayed for the food

We asked concierge for a restaurant with views and she recommended Mrs Jones. So glad we went along . The view was lovely overlooking the beach . The food was fantastic , service was friendly and professional. If you are looking for an extra special...restaurant Mrs Jones is perfect . If ever we are back in Tasmania we will definitely be back .More

Back to it's roots

First time here in two years and the new management has brought back how it was when we first came 20 years ago. Attentive staff, dressed appropriately and the presentation and taste was great. Well done 👍

Great and well done.

Had my 70th birthday lunch, this week at Mrs Jones , We had not been there for just over a year, the food was Excellent and sevice was very good and professional, better than the last time we had been there.Devonport needs more Restaurants of...this standard.Job well done to all the staff.More

Best fine dining on NW coast ..

Today we enjoyed yet another excellent lunch at mrs. J'S. This is our 5th visit since new owners took over. Highly recommend, great service, lovely ambience and above all consistently good food , some great dishes...Duck curry to die for ... cos style salad is...superb , scallop spring rolls , also do a great coffee ***More

Yuk $$$

Really bad vegetarian food. Ordered three dishes all served with a dessert like caramel sauce. So sweet I couldn’t taste even the vegetables in them.

Demise of Mrs Jones

Don't bother....they don't. Obviousely changed hands. Made a booking for lunch on there internet site specifically asking for a table in the window. Got there and was told not available, however during the hour or so we, there were two or three window tables vacant...at all times. When asked about our request she couldn't care less. Menu was most dissapointing-very ordinary cafe style at restaurant prices.We used to go there before Covid, but never againMore
