Very tasty potatoes with different toppings.
We tried the bolognesse, chicken and bacon, and sweet and sour chicken, and liked them all.
The port are very generous.

When i told my hubby that there was a takeaway that just served jacket spuds he didn't want to go anywhere else!! There was such a crowd waiting. I had special of day and he had beans n bacon. Easily one of the best meals of our holiday!
Local tip Phone your order ahead. But the wait wasn't long anyway !

The staff recommended Stroganoff as a daily special. It was was perfect, really well cooked. A variety of meals based on potatoes. Very nice place to takeaway a meal after a busy day at work.

It's a good meal if you wish to have spuds with fillings, but it's not the best place. If there's an alternative, go there, but otherwise house of spuds is nice.

Oven baked jacket potatoes with a variety of hot or cold fillings, including casserole style toppings, curries, seafood, vegetarian and salad. Our go-to choice when cooking is not an option!

It's not my favourite food. Potato was more sweet than savoury. Had half and half of farmhouse and supreme. Overload with butter, cheese and white sauce. Couldn't tell if I'm eating potato or not as the potato was mashy. Wasn't like baked jacket potato that you get from festivals. It was mashed sweet potato with cheesy topping on top. It wasn't bad and I can see that a lot of people liking it but just wasn't my type of food.

Potatoes here are big, smashed up a fair bit and covered with yummy toppings. Staff are happy to customize orders, the Mexican is my favorite, while my kids favorite is the farmhouse. Large serves.

Wet drizzly night so we decided on The House of Spuds Takeway Meals. Quick check of their FB page and we ordered the Special Curried Scallops and a Supreme with a quick phone call. Collection was 15 minutes later, just walk in pay and collect.
Two great Takeaway meals.

Enjoyed the curry spud but cannot guarantee what the specials will be. Great for a friday night quick feed. Very filling and good value.

I'm sorry but it would have been the worst spud I have ever had I had a total of 5 prawns and that was with extra filling and the curry was very glugy had no taste. I'm sorry will not be coming back again.

Take-away potato packages for every taste. We usually ring ahead our order as the wait can be quite long if you just go in off the street. Good quality and service.

I was searching for a fastservice restaurant in Devonport the other day and found it through this site.
They had a lot of toppings to chose from to go with Spudzzz! The service was fast and reliable (I've got my meal in less than 5 minutes). Huge amount and it was delicious.
Good quality and price ratio.
Would go again!

House of Spuds is always a good option for takeaway meals. Meals are good size , tasty and the specials regularly change. The Roma and Supreme are definitely the best options.
