Fantastic pub style meals! Fast service and tasty flavours! Menu is super large and could probably would be great to see fewer, but more consistent meals available. Quality seemed to differ from plate to plate on our table

Wanted dinner but place was booked out. Staff were great and suggested we have a meal in the bar - a few beers later we did just that - beers were excellent as well. Enjoyed an excellent meal served at the bar. Received a few...tickets in a bar raffle that I subsequently won - spun the wheel and donated the prize of several pints to some young guys at the bar. The bar was full of people enjoying themselves and all in all it was a good night with excellent staff who were cheerful and chatty. RecommendMore
A cold night - fire blazing - a couple schooners of Kilkenny - nice. A nice atmosphere - prompt service and plenty of servers. A million items on the menu that would do Ramsays head in. Pub loaf was sensational. Potato skins - chewy not...crispy. The Mrs had a roast of the day baked dinner - chicken - absolutely huge - cannot go wrong. Great night - a good solid pub meal- and a very reasonable price. Thanks.More
Great pub meals in the heart of Devonport. A wide menu including some Irish classic to pair beautifully with a Guinness or Kilkenny. The Irish Stew is a ripper!
Wednesday evening dinner the place was packed, table service a little slow but staff very pleasant, meals excellent and served in an exceptable time
Went to Molly Malones Irish Pub whilst staying in Devonport. We wanted to watch a particular NRL match. The lady behind the bar could not have been more helpful. Reserving seats for 6 of us in front of the TV set and adjusting the channel...to the match. Drinks were good and served quickly. Stayed on for dinner and the food was nice. Plenty seating, food served in very reasonable time. Nice pleasant atmosphere.More
Ordered a takeaway Porterhouse steak and loaded fries. Unevenly cooked steak, extremely charcoal tasting. Seriously average. Loaded fries were not fries. Tasteless, not crunchy, just had cheese and bacon. Below average.
The Christmas Day lunch was wonderful. The lunch was delicious, the service was professional and friendly. Thanks to all the lovely staff for making this Christmas Day so special for our party and, I believe all the other guests.
I bet nobody likes to be treated the way you shouldn’t be. Whether its aussie american or anyother nationality. Everyone should be treated equally. Does anyone of you like if you go to somewhere far from your place at a restaurant and you get a...really bad customer service/bad experience at a restaurant? There was a pile of dishes at the table which needs to be cleared. She saw it she came to our table couple times so many of them passed by but nobody cared of picking that plates up. We tried to let her know but she knowingly ignored us didnt listen and walked away. So rude so unaccomodating so terrible. Nobody came to take order for so long time. One nice lady finally got to us and took our order. Whoever disrespects other individuals. Be prepared you could be the next. You’ll be treated even worst than how you treat others. No offence though. Good luck. Worst experience ever.More
We booked here as it's not too far from the Spirit of Tassie. I ordered the classic Irish Stew and wasn't disappointed. Thick, rich and chunks of meat that melted in my mouth. Hubby ordered the beef and guiness pie and polished the plate off...in record time. The staff are so friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this pub if you need to eat before getting on the Spirit.More
My friend and I selected the lunch special. Pork roast (tender meat and roast veggies) and chocolate/cherry bread n butter pudding, total cost $20. Desert was rich and yummy. Gets our vote for economy and taste.
We came in for lunch and we’re served by Mandy and Dan we could not have asked for friendlier or more professional service the food was amazing we were so full and lucky for us they have us takeaway containers so we could enjoy again...laterMore
Good friendly hotel ideal for a family outing offering a large range of meal options at reasonable pricing.
I am sorry but for the first time in my loyalty to Mollys and formerly the older pub, I have to say it failed on Christmas Day to present the experience of a life time with their Christmad lunch---- the food left a lot to...be desired we would have been better off with the standard menue, Molly oh sweet Molly you failed to deliver, and a formal complaint will be delivered on such............please please improve for next year.More
Husband and I came for dinner after a last minute decision to visit Devonport. This was close to our accomodation. Service with a smile and reasonably quick. Very casual atmosphere. Meals were generous and my lamb shank had more meat than I could eat. We...liked the drink specials.More
