The caesar salad here was one of the best I've had. Coffee was great. It's nice to sit outside in the sun. Was quite busy on my visit.

Obviously understaffed...has some nice food but waiting times are often long.Understandable that its hard to get staff at present but the past few times ive been there -the staff are quite offish.

Unfortunately this was the only stop for lunch while on a cruise tour. We stopped to visit the Maritime Museum which is in the same small building, so we thought a quick lunch was a good idea.
There was a separate limited menu for the cruise group patrons and we could only use disposable cutlery. In fact, a waitress girl literally SNATCHED the metal silverware out of my hands and strongly directed me to the counter for the disposable silverware. We wasted nearly the entire tour time for grilled sandwiches and both girls were rude and curt to all of the cruise tour patrons. That experience nearly ruined the entire visit, if it weren't for the helpful and friendly museum ladies. DON'T waste your time with ordering food here, go to the museum and then go elsewhere for lunch.

My staff and I were so sorry to read this, and to know that you were left feeling this way. I can’t excuse any rude behavior but I can apologize and assure you that this is not what how we usually treat our customers. I can only assume with the extremely busy 30min we have to serve 30-40 customers coming off the cruise boat, while also serving the cafe customers, was very stressful for the staff and they may not have handled their stress very well at that moment.. Our customers love it here and return daily for our service, beautiful food and atmosphere and I’m so sorry you didn’t get our normal level of service

Looked forward to a snack and some refreshments after viewing the museum and very handy to have a café incorporated in the building. A couple pf coffees and ice creams the ideal 'pick me up'. Valhalla brand ice cream, I enjoyed the Jamaican Coffee and my wife her cookies and cream. Tasty coffee. Excellent service.

Tucked away in a charming spot Marion Storm Maritime Cafe is located inside the Bass Strait Maritime Centre, Devonport. A great destination for those seeking exceptional food, outstanding service, and a perfectly curated atmosphere.
The food at Marion Storm deserves special recognition. Its great and the customer service is exceptional
Highly recommended for all occasions.

Delicious fittata. Staff were so friendly and accommodating to allergy issues. The cafe is clean and spacious, plus a wonderful deck outside taking in the lovely views across the water. This cafe is a gem. And importantly...great coffee!!

Had the large harvest platter at a cost of $45, definitely not value for money. Two postage stamp size pieces of Brie, couple of pieces of smoked salmon, bit of toast, pickled carrot and cucumber, bit of lettuce, a couple of blueberries, spoonful of salmon rite and cream cheese and a few lavish crackers, very disappointing.

Peter, I am so so sorry and sad to read this. This is definitely not what our Harvest Platters are about, they are usually very generous and we have hundreds of wonderful customer comments on this plate. I’m truly sorry that you were left feeling ripped off.
If I had the opportunity to get you back and let you try again I would love to give you one on the house? But it looks like you were on holiday? Let me know if you do
