We ate here recently as a couple and were looking for some local seafood so chose the seafood platter for two. The food was well presented and a good variety of cooked and fresh seafood. We walked away well satisfied. Service was quick and friendly...and the owner and staff made an effort to check in from time to time to see if all was to our liking. Good value, would come again.More

Visited this restaurant for the third time on Tuesday evening, one of the only restaurants in Devonport which was open. I’ve become used to our meals being more pub style than restaurant meals, but the venue itself is beautifully decorated and the food is consistent....A bit pricey for the quality of the meals you receive. On each visit we have found the staff to be very pleasant, but after one drink you need to grab their attention to be offered another, and each time we have decided to leave before having more drinks or desert after our meals because we have sat with our empty plates for a very extended period. Overall an okay experience but some work to be done.More

Our family of four went here for dinner our last night in the Devonport region. The place overlooks the wharf and we got to see the Spirit of Tasmania sail off as we exited the restaurant at the end of the meal. We had the...seafood platter for four. There was cold and hot seafood, lots of variety, more food than four people could tackle. The food was well cooked, my only issue was that it all comes to the table at once. Some of the hot food was reasonably cold by the time you got to it, especially if you started with eating some of the cold seafood. I found the service friendly and attentive enough. I think I am probably being generous in my rating of the value of the meal.More

Food was good, decent prices for the mains, clean restaurant, desserts are expensive at $15, soft drink tasted terrible.

We had been looking forward to trying Prems as we had heard good things, however we were extremely disappointed with our visit. Firstly the service is slow. Really slow. It took over an hour for meals to come out and the drinks were also very...slow. Having said this it should be noted that the staff were friendly and helpful. 4 out of the 5 meals ordered would be described as nothing more than an average pub meal. The scallops still had the black stomach sack still attached as they had not been shucked properly. The steak was tasty but very very tough. The chips were deliciously good. The main issue with the restaurant is that it is way over priced for the quality of the meal.More

Tonight we celebrated a 70th an 85th and Mother’s Day. Our meal could not be faulted. Amazing. Service excellent. We had a 5.30/6pm booking. At 7.15 we had our final drinks order taken (coffee). Not two minutes later the owner came around and told us...that we had only a few minutes until We had to leave because the next booking was waiting for our table. Were we told upon booking that there were two meal seatings? No. We had elderly family with us that were looking forward to an after tea coffee. So doing the right thing we went up to pay and spoke to the lady at the register about the situation... she said she could put the drinks in a take away cup. No thank you. I don’t want my elderly aunt drinking her coffee out of a take away cup outside in May. Sadly we won’t race back.More

Very cozy place, beautiful atmosphere. You can tell that food is very fresh and high quality. Had some of their special cocktails that was amazing!! Was so worth coming all the way from Hobart!! I usually don’t write a review, but we have met the...owners and they have made us feel so welcome and special! So highly recommended, and if you are visiting Devonport, this is the place you must visit!!More
