From the time it opened in Burnie, Fish Frenzy has been a favorite place to eat. You could always be sure of well cooked fresh fish. My meal last night, formerly called a Fish Frenzy was extremely poor quality. Each piece of seafood was over-cooked...and oily. The fish which was probably not fresh but frozen had an unpleasant taste and much was left on the plate. Considering that excellent local fresh fish is available elsewhere in Burnie, I won't be back.More

4 out of 5 meals were burnt oily and tasted terrible, needed sauce. Service was friendly and fast. Not enjoyable.

Great location, friendly staff & yummy food. I had the Trevally, chips & salad and the serve was huge (yummy too!) Hubby had a chicken caeser wrap with chips which he really enjoyed. It was a beautiful sunny day & very relaxing just sitting there...looking at the view, enjoying delicious food and a glass of wine. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in Burnie 😊More

Oil was old as the calamari and chips came out dark and very oily taste. We are from Hobart and much better food there. Bald guy could smile occasionally.

We ordered the fish frenzy and it came really quickly...but...it wasn't good. The size and quality was poor, very oily. It seemed like they took the fish from a frozen packet and deep fried it in the same oil as the day before. Oily and...we paid 60 dollars. I don't think it was worth it.More

What a great place to eat your fish and chips. We had blue eye with beer batter and flake with tempura batter and both were terrific and accompanied by generous chips and salad. Generally I suffer a bit of upset stomach following f&c but so...far not so with these...yumMore

What a find! On the seafront in Burnie had the freshest oysters we have ever had - great friendly service and wonderful salmon mains - open on a Sunday night when most places are closed - highly recommend!!

Stopped in for a late lunch, place was quiet, not many people. Had a grilled fish n chips, special. Glad we aren't big eaters, fish portion was quite small, but tasty. The coffee was the worst I ever had. It was un drinkable. Only 2nd...time in my life I have come across coffee this bad. Won't be back.More

We had to come back after having dinner here last night. And we swapped our meals from the night before. One of the staff remembered what we had last night. Licensed so you can get a glass of wine or a bottle depending on your...desires. My stirfry was filled with prawns and scallops. And lots of veggies with rice. The Cajun salmon was topped on Greek salad. Which was delightfully loaded with olives. We added sweet potato chips to our meal which were absolutely wonderful. Both times we sat undercover but outside and protected and faced the beach. This place is not to be missed if you come to Bernie. Staff are pleasant quick and efficient. Not long to wait for your meal to come out.More

Lovely spot for a place to eat. Casual, family friendly with a view of the sea. The food was good and it’s a busy place. Very bright and light - windows 360 degrees. Alfresco or inside your choice. Salt n Pepper with a salad. Didn’t...break the bank. Salad has good amount of dressing. Bean sprouts picked out as not a fan.More

If your cruise ship docks in Burnie then you could get to Fish Frenzy in 5 minutes - they are very close
