How is The Bridport Bunker Club rated?

The Club offers Bistro style food for both lunch and dinner 6 days a week. Dine in the restaurant, book a booth in the bar or simply dine out on the deck. We aim to use only the freshest and best local Tassie produce, focusing on the North East where possible. Our Chefs aim to create taste sensations and flavours that are unique to the BUNKER. Our meals are all generous and can be topped off with a house made dessert, created fresh each day. The Bars open Tuesday to Sunday and offers great Tassie local, beers, wines and ciders.

Best meal so far in Tassie.

Hand made dumplings yum! Salmon absolutely delicious and the Messe plate was such a wonderful mix of wonderful flavours. Smoked duck, walnut bread, fried Camembert and lashings of condiments.

A room with a view

Chose this establishment due to recommendations and good reviews, we were not disappointed. A great wine list consisting of primarily Tasmanian wines, and why not, they are pretty good! A good selection on the menu and both meals we chose were delicious. The staff are...lovely, so what more could we have asked for, pleasant surroundings overlooking water, great service, great wines and great food, tick, tick, tick, tick.More

Great lunch spot

We were looking for something healthy and fresh and weren’t disappointed. We ordered the Warm Chicken /avo/vegetable salad and the Thai Crispy Squid salad and they both hit the spot! In addition the friendly attentive staff made it a really enjoyable experience.

Excellent food as always

Excellent food yet again. This is the third year we have visited this restaurant whilst golfing at Barnbougle and it did not disappoint. We had dinner here 2 nights and both times the food was excellent. Across both nights we had a variety of dishes...including chicken, pork, salmon, fillet steak and scallops. We all enjoyed our meals. The portions are big and served with a good selection of fresh veg. Dessert was also good especially chocolates mousse and sticky toffee pudding. We'll be back when we are next at Barnbougle especially now we have found a fabulous airbnb in the tow.More

Delicious dinner

So happy to have chosen The Bunker Club for dinner last night. It was excellent. A warm welcome, very spacious and pleasant dining room. The menu was very good, lots of choice - we had the squid and oysters, both delicious - and perfect entree...size. We had mains of pork schnitzel and scallops. Excellent, beautifully presented, lots of flavour. The service was very good and friendly. The wine list has to be seen to be believed, primarily Tasmanian (from all over the State) with some mainland offerings in the bigger red varietals. We enjoyed a lovely chilled rose from the east coast of Tas. Boon has done it again with this restaurant, a wonderful experience and a very reasonable bill. Would absolutely recommend it.More

Nice friendly venue with a good menu

Had an enjoyable dinner here. The staff were well versed in gluten free requirements which ensured a good meal could be had by myself. Ended up opting for a calamari dish which was excellent. A limited range of drinks are available on tap.

In cooked chicken

I I really think the chief that was cooking at this club this evening should be educated on the dangers of serving half cooked chicken to customers. After cutting in to the chicken that was served it was noted that it was very undercooked. Upon...asking nicely if they minded cooking it a bit more. It was returned to customer in the same uncooked state. This was totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer. The don’t really care attitude of the staff was really upsetting. Will not be going back there anytime soon.More

Delicious food

We had an absolutely delicious meal here. Lots of choice on the menu and a good wine list. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic! Would highly recommend.

Delicious and accomodating

The Bunker Club had delicious meals, a great vegan option. They were also very kind to our puppy which they made a meal for too ! Legends

Great meals

We booked for a Friday night for a family of 8 and had a delicious dinner. The food was fresh and flavourful, would definitely eat there again. It seemed a very popular spot and we did wait for orders to be taken and then food...to be ready. Being a Friday night it was really loud, with a table of 15+ roudy men behind us. The noise and wait for food was the only let down.More

What a treat!

Staying at Lost Farm for 3 nights our group of 8 wanted to experience a little bit of Bridport. We chose the Bunker after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. Not arriving until 7.45pm (15 mins late) we were warmly welcomed by the staff. An interesting...and varied menu meant there were great choices for everyone plus an extensive wine list. The staff were very friendly and attentative. Definitely a return visit when next in Tassie.More

Amazing food and views

Went for dinner. One of the best meals had in Tassie, all five of us had outstanding meals and plenty of it. The views were an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Worth a visit.

Very helpful staff, tasty food and lovely view towards beach. Visited in the morning to book a table and given the suggestion that it was best to sit in a certain area for the view, and because they had a couple of large tables in...the other section.More

Great food, great service at the Bunker.

Great food, great service. Had the pleasure of lunch at the Bunker Club today, what a great little spot. The menu was extensive with plenty of options for picky eaters.
