Had dinner there on two nights and the menu choices were quite good and staff were friendly and helpful. meals were well prepared and three of us had different dishes and all were good. Good beer on tap as well.
I had three pubs to chose from. I chose the wrong pub.
I couldn’t buy a glass of white wine unless I bought a bottle. I ordered from the special board, Salt and Pepper calamari. They came out looking dry and very grey.
After eating...1/4 through they were uneatable. I could continue eating chips as my stomach ached the rest of the night, even hours after.
I don’t complain much, but lesson learned not to go there again.More

It is such a shame to hear about your experience this morning, it looks like we should have done much better.
We do have a range of wines, with bubbles, white, rose and red all available by the glass and bottle. I'm sorry...More
Stop in Wentworth overnight. Went to the Crown for dinner. The service was excellent, the food was delicious with a good selection, usual pub food plus more restaurant style meals available. Had to book as this Pub is a popular spot for locals. Live entertainment...on Friday night and it was good not so loud that we couldn't talk over the music which added to the ambience of the dining area. Highly recommended.More
We had lunch today at the Crown Hotel as nothing much else open in town! We enjoyed an excellent meal - beetroot, goat’s cheese and burghal salad for me and steak burger for my husband. Presentation and taste were excellent for both. And the wait...staff friendly and accommodating. Loved our lunch here.More
We were there late afternoon on Easter Monday and popped in for a beer and a cup of tea. I also splurged on a slice of delicious mud cake. We had planned on going back to Mildura where we were staying for dinner but when...we saw their menu we soon changed our minds. So we filled in an hour and returned. I had delicious arancini balls and my husband the scallops. For mains we again chose from the specials board and had the beef short ribs which were melt in the mouth tender. I had the lamb medallion salad which were a little fatty.
Very friendly service we were glad we stayed.More
