Exquisite meal, beginning with an entree of Crumbed mushrooms which was the highlight. Crème Brûlée for dessert to finish nicely

Beautifully restored, retaining Art Deco features without compromising comfort. The ensuite bathrooms pay tribute to style and comfort. The dining experience is another delightful pleasure. And the staff are charming and helpful.

Attentive service, delicious meal, not your usual pub food, in charming Art Deco surroundings. After dinner coffee was disappointing. We will return but skip the coffee.

The food at the restaurant, though slightly on the expensive side, was definitely deserving of its price. It was beautifully prepared, whether it was the chicken, the fish, or the lamb shanks. The menu had a good range of options which was also great to...see. Overall, a really good dining experience, one of the best my family and I had in a while.More

We love The Commercial. It is right in town, has great food, very comfortable beds, large bathrooms with nice products, and it is quiet. Second stay and will be back.

Very nice and beautiful boutique hotel. The Manager Tim was so friendly to communicate with while booking dinner for 14 golfers. The service was good and a great variety in menu on offer. With so many of us, the staff did a great job.

Wonderful sunday lunch - steaks were great. Interesting wine list. Very good staff - even though they seem to understaffed

Very nice boutique hotel in Tenterfield. The rooms are very comfortable and have an old world vibe while at the same time are very clean and up to date. A great base to explore the area. The restaurant is the best place to eat in...town.More

This is no ordinary pub food. The meals here were delicious and plentiful. Well worth visiting. There is an outside drinking area for summer, and a nice open fire inside for winter.More

You have to come to this restaurant if in Tenterfield. Amazing meat dishes. So flavoursome and delish. Service was just wonderful especially the team on our first night of dining. We were so impressed, we booked to come back for dinner the next night. A...lovely old hotel, brought back to life with hints of the older days in the decor. Just sublime.More

That would be a very good idea. We were lucky to get a table as walk-ins a couple of weeks ago (on a Wednesday night). Good luck. The food is good!
