Nice place to break a long ride

We were a group riding from Cowra to Canowindra and back and we stopped for coffee and early lunch at the Delice.Very friendly staff, excellent coffee and a small but interesting menu greeted us. My only mistake was to misread the menu and assume I was ordering an egg and bacon roll when in fact I received eggs and bacon plus tomatoes and baby spinach on two muffins. Delicious, but filling!

Friendly fast service with great coffee

I love my coffee and was very impressed. Service was super fast and we had a nice Big Breakfast- which definitely hit the spot. A great location for a country town meal- looks like lots of other nice options- simple but done well!

Hot Coffee by the fire

This was a real find. The main street was dead at 8am. Found this off the main drag. Great coffee. Prompt friendly service with good food and a fire going on a cold morning. What more could you ask for!

Staff need retraining in customer relationships. Too much talking not enough action.!

Wife and I stoped by for a coffee and raisin toast on Tuesday for morning tea. Well we gave our order (which was written down on the usual order pad), to the young staff member who was chatting to other people, and we found a seat, and waited & waited. I was reading the letters column in the paper ( had time to read two papers ), when my wife told me the people that came in after us were leaving with their coffee! I approached the staff member and inquired about our coffee he looked at his pad and then said "I forgot about you" was was too busy talking small talk with some customers and neglected our order.Big mistake. Our order came over and the young staff member in some sort of manner apologised,I told him to pick up his game. Our raisin toast arrived just after, not good enough at all. If the staff member had their whits about them this would not have happened. The coffee was just and raisin toast ok. I do feel that the seat cushion may need changing or washing (did not use it). Sorry but this is not good service at all,I spoke to the local that sat at the next table to me and she basically said this is ok by her, well if you want to run a business for locals ok, but what about the visitors will they come back! It's a small town and we will be Stoping at the other coffee & food shop in the Main Street next time.

Hi, I'm really sorry about your bad experience, I'm the owner of the Cafe and have recently had to step out of day to day running of the Cafe. I will be having a serious discussion with everyone as this is simply not acceptable. My apologies, Anton.

Worth a return visit

We liked the coffee and returned after trying coffee elsewhere for a second visit. We had rolls and croissants, too. There are also some interesting local products, including cheese for sale, and we took some of them.

Absolute gem!

Delice Coffee is more than just coffee. They have delicious food options, friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Located near the town centre, Delice is a great place to stop after you've driven into town and need a place to have delicious food or for breakfast before you head off on your day. Delicious scones and pancakes from my experience.
